The difference between soul ties, mates and karmics

Hi all,

I am interested to hear people's explanations and thoughts on the differences between soul ties, soul mates, karmic and catalyst relationships and their purpose.

To my knowledge we are all here in part to work through and balance karmic debt with others through relationships which would make the nature of all said relationships karmic right?

All ideas and insights would be much appreciated

Many thanks

Nowadays I view every relationship as a reflection of learning and growth. Once upon a time I would label what each one represented in me. Now I can see that depending upon where you reside in yourself and the process moving in you, it often correlates to a symbolic relationship of self and others.

We cross paths with many various and different connections, some open us on the surface, some open us deeper. Often those who activate our deepest grief and loss, our deepest love and connection are awakening our true essence. These connections are often referred to as twin flame, deep soul connection. These connections activate the deeper parts of ourselves, often our own separateness, where our core wounds reside and where its separation (from its own source) began ( ground of being) These types of connections, generally hold the potential to our own deep connection. They are deeper mirrors you might say.

I’havent looked at relationships as karmic previously, but rather see them as opportunities to build potential and expand beyond that initial invitation of what draws you to it closer. The attraction is really just the ‘coming together’ without full realisation of what this means. The mind and emotional body often decides what it means, especially as humans we like to know and give meaning to what others mean in us.

I think that once you feel ‘connected’ see yourself more clearly beyond the fractured self, you grow and deepen through your own connection. You’re not caught up in reflections as you were previously.

You also then see people as they are.

I enjoyed reading JustBes response. Very accurate. I would add that any physical relationship is a catalyst for something greater just as these connections offer something even greater and deeper in its purpose.More often than not we are pulled into these connections to upturn any conventional ideas or beliefs we have about any connection we have. It may seem like karma but in all we learn from them we simply repeat the same thing until we realize there is just an experience that is beyond our mind to comprehend

I wanted to say what you wrote is profound, and very well written. About the experiences that we have, about connections, and their depth. The deeper thy are, the deeper they reflection of the mirror will be. The more aware you'll be in what you see that's beyond the surface of things.

I that feel they're very important to helping understand and heal core wounds that allow one to be more open, to greatness of the love. To see that they're capable of a deeper and greater love.

@Aethera

Thank you. Yes you can definitely source those who can you as deep as your core wounds, find great healing by allowing those people to break through you.

I think once you understand this learning of how each of us can be reflections, of deeper growth and letting go into new parts of your being, you then navigate life and others with opportunity, to not only understand yourself, but also others.

Many of us healing and building awareness through life and people, opening to ourselves through all that, rather than sitting on a mat meditating, or living in an ashram, are facing everything more directly. This becomes the lived experience and our healing all together, through so much.

It’s not easy, but if you look at everything moving through your world as an opportunity to open and break through yourself, you can move through life with grace.

I’ve been knocked down over and over, by others, by life but ultimately it made me get back up on my feet and keep going, keep diving deep inside myself and become something beyond all that.

Nowadays when I’m interacting with people, I tend to reflect that openness and healing. It’s a part of my being now. So in just being myself, it opens others. I’m not forcing or trying just being myself as I am. What arises through me, is just as life is. Sometimes I’ve had people think I am hexing them, lol .. but truly I’m not doing anything, not thinking about what’s going to flow, but rather just being myself open and aware of myself.. ❤️

That’s simply a gift to the self..
