Filter?

With a world full of negative and positive it’s hard to filter, I usually stay away from anything that’s negative- but don’t we need a balance of both? In order to grow? Being educated on negative things can be a life saver or save you hassle and pain..

I was wondering about the filter I have for instance Disney movies are okay even when much of their plots are about negative turn positive.. but watching the new saw wouldn’t cross my mind..

But I’m probably exposed to the same amount of negativity if I’m being honest..

At least both aspects the horror and the play of life lessons in the Disney movies are educational …

We shouldn’t hide away from negativity but embrace it to learn and establish greater security???

Do you filter things? Could the filter be causing you more harm than good? Are we just lying to ourselves??
