Reconciling your dual

This fight against and fore you say
Aligns two paths within your play
Your dual is yours in you
A converging path through and through

So where you sit, reside in sides
For good, for love, for pain or die
For worse or better, broken or mend
You the source become this blend

The integrative merging paths
Where ‘one’ as you determine halves
Is the view you are, within this stream
Becoming ‘one’ where no longer the dream

You decided long ago
Your ancient self when
Forced with blows

Battered, beaten into disrepair
The wholeness taken beyond repair

As every life you’ve dreamed since then
Has slowly forged and merged your den

To realign the forgotten dream
Of self retained, from a wholeness stream

Where no longer can you deny
What as ‘one’ when forced to die

Seperated by all these dreams
Where others took and broke your stream

Here in wholeness born
I stand before you
On this dawn

On this day to mark these
Paths

The converging dream that is so hard
Is so deep, so dark so brave

To bring to light the brightest day

A star is born
As you decide

To shine so bright
Or down and forlorn

Arise and say
To you
Right now

I’ll converge my dual
It is mine I see

To find this ancient self
You’ll be!

he can think of
lots of good reasons
to be
sad and forlorn
but he's tired
of talking about it

perhaps because
he is finally willing
to give in
to his
long-standing
perception

that she just thinks he is posturing
jockying for a position
in her mind.

But get real -
anyone who thinks
sad and forlorn and depressed
and so many other negative emotions
actually have value

isn't going to find
a 'good' position
in other people's minds
when he talks about it

because they only want to be happy
and sunny
like ascending a tower in springtime

but
anyway
lately
it has come to his attention
that maybe
a good thing
would be
to just accept
when others misunderstand

and roll with the punches.

Misunderstanding leading to misunderstood
Does one have to stand before others and prove their worth?
Their way? Their ideas and they themselves as they are?
In all our beautiful, ugly wonderful despairing human ways
There lays the gift of you, standing tall without any qualms what others see
Decide is not of value, worthy of this dance
Called life..

In all views you are there witnessing you
As you see and feel
So see with eyes of love, understanding of you
Feel how worthy you are as you are
Decide for you, bowing in the face
Of all misunderstandings
As the reconciliation, worth and love
That others desire to make you be …

And if you despair then let the despair open your eyes
If you feel weak and vulnerable
Lost and alone

Let those feelings open you to see and feel differently..
