Love utopia
The Hindu deities are personifications of divine attributes. When I do my daily meditation, I remember both the male and the female aspects of the Divine.

The following link asks why the Hindu deities are male. Read the first response which mentions the female consorts that always accompany the male.

EXCERPT:

"Because their better halves or best halves are females. The world is a balance of male and female energy."

When visiting Hare Krsna temples they have female and male deities.

The Krishna temples do indeed have female and male deities.

It's interesting that you should bring up Prabhupada as that brings back memories of my in-person interactions with him in New York City many years ago.

Quite an amazing person IMO, he lived the life he preached, so if I was going to immerse myself in the Hindu or Hare Krsna philosophy, it would be his translations I would trust and rely on.

Keep in mind that Prabhupada is a Bhakti and that is very evident in his translation of the Gita.

Feel free to share your thoughts on this subject.

Equality?, Yes. We're on the same boat both male and female, we need each other to survive so I think equality is a must.
