Question Copy and paste... song lyrics?

I've read the general rules regarding copying and pasting, but I'm wondering whether they apply to song lyrics? I'm fond of posting a YouTube video of a song and accompanying it with the full lyrics to that song. I don't think this raises copyright issues, as the lyrics are directly attributed to that song and, therefore, to the author/copyright holder of those lyrics; but I figured I should ask before going ahead with this.

Adminning and moderating a forum this big has got to be a lot of work. I think I'll just wait until they work their way around to this thread.

Generally what I do is post a YouTube video of the song, then the complete lyrics with each verse and chorus spaced out. And occasionally a review or personal interpretation of some songs. I'm particularly fond of songs about death (Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper", Michael Martin Murphy's "Wildfire") and anti-war songs (The Doors' "The Unknown Soldier", Men At Work's "It's A Mistake").
