i thought it was a beautiful quote, so im sharing it.

Mark Twain once said, “The physician who knows only medicine, knows not even medicine.” In order to be skillful in the art of health and healing we need to start with ourselves. I found this on the AMSA site, its especially fitting for the given times, beautiful.

Health, Healing and Happiness to all.

Laughter is the best medicine.

"For people who are as poor as us, who have lost everything, who had to endure so much death and sadness, laughter is a precious gift. When we were dying like flies from white man's disease, when we were driven into reservations, when the government rations did not arrive and we were starving, watching the pranks and capers of Heyókȟa were a blessing."

Lovely Alexis. Very true and Thank you for sharing. We live a life, but ultimately we have to take care of ourselves, our soul, because if we don't, who will? !!!

Hi Ant.. well you got a big high five from me for that!!! Everyone , I am certain suffers certain traumas in life. It can be very difficult at times. And I'm being polite here. But sometimes life is hard. However challenging my life has been I have always retained my sense of humour. Because laughter , sometimes really is the best medicine. Without laughter in my life (and music and books) I think I would have withered away decades ago!
