Angel Numbers, Meditation & Death

Yesterday, I lost a pet named Valerian. At that point he had been sick for a few days. I noticed rapid breathing, diarrhoea and wobbliness. Some three days prior to his death, I would meditate everyday for 30 minutes and call upon God, angels and my guides with the intention of healing Valerian and not letting him suffer long. Yesterday, when I was feeding him water, after a few seconds he suddenly dropped on his side and could barely move. His leg was jerking as blood dripped from his nose. He died in a minute and I was in shock. For some reason I checked the time shortly after and it was 4:44. Are angels trying to tell me something? I'm still in shock today and I don't know how to move forward. Did my meditation have a hand in all this? What does it all mean?

Oh I am so so sorry for your loss. You did everything you could. You could not have done any more. You did all of this through love and yes, seeing a double digit or a triple number is a sign from the universe to convey to you that the time was right for your pet to depart. And your pet was blessed to have had you to look after and care for him/ her until the end. Spirit always guides everything.... There was nothing more you could have done.

Elfin, hearing what the synchronicity means in that situation gives me much peace, and having it confirmed by Native spirit further solidifies it. You're both right, everything happens for a reason and I did my best. Nevertheless I shall continue to send Valerian love.
