Seth: "How often do you need to suggest that physical symptoms go away?"

You get what you focus on:
"([Gert:] “How often do you need to suggest that physical symptoms go away?”)

Do not give the suggestion in those terms. Imagine emotionally, instead, your feeling that the symptoms have already disappeared. Emotionally, imagine how fine you feel that now the symptoms are gone. Do not hammer at yourself. In a moment, see yourself freed from the symptoms and then forget the episode."

—TECS3 ESP Class Session, May 18, 1971
You give suggestions in terms of being healthy, not in terms of getting rid of the symptoms, or the illness. You give the suggestions, and forget about; you don't keep repeating the suggestions over and over.

OMG. No one talks about this! I was asked to talk about healing and someone there needed some help.
One time with a small group I asked someone to pass me that pen...and she did.
Then, I asked her again, "Would you pass me that pen?"
But she had already heard me and gave it to me!
People looked at me as if I was nuts...mental.

Point being: to ask once or declare it once - Know you have been heard.
By asking or declaring it again and again....What are you saying?
....that you think you were not heard and subconsciously believe it
has not already been set into motion.

As in dog training - you teach the doggy to sit at your first command...
not the 3rd time with your voice getting louder.
Your dog isn't hard of hearing....neither is God or whomever you're addressing.

Cool, huh?

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Added: So what you're doing is sending a mixed message, a confused message ... a double message;
you're being ''double minded'', see? As James warned about...so you can expect nothing.

Don’t place your attention on the physical symptoms. Instead, focus it on the positive opposite: the good health. So for instance, if you have an upset stomach, focus on it doing what it does normally. If you have inflamed gums, focus on them being healthy. Give thanks for the healing in advance.
