You call her mom, what more can a parent ask for. I am sure she is very grateful for haven been given you, adopted or not.(This is from a mother's perspective). Kids aren't perfect and neither are parents. I sure wasn't a joy to my parent's during my teens years. We grow and learn from our mistakes. Our mistakes and wrong doings help us learn empathy and grow a conscious.
Going forward, you have years and years to show her your gratitude.

Hi!

You can't erase the past but you can soothe the way you and others feel about it. You can't erase what you consider as your wrong actions, but you can erase their negatives consequences.

For example, when you say
Quote:
I feel like an idiot for the way I treated her from time to time
You can tell this to your adopted mom and say you're sorry. You can tell her her you love her and ask her for forgiveness.

This could be a great way to change how the past results in your present reality

Given the option between back and forward, I'd definitely travel forward, but choosing between staying in the present and going back, I would go back in time. I'd go back to an age of exploration, an age where we didn't know anything, an age where maps had empty portions and blank spaces and nobody knew where the edge of the world was. I'd go back to when freedom meant something different than it does today.

Me too, norseman!! I feel a strong connection to that time period as well as the Roman occupation period and the Middle Ages to Elizabethan . The one past life I know of is during Roman occupation.

I would go back to the Edwardian times because I was closest to my spirit guide who is my brother then. Though that would mean being in an abusive marriage again, ack!

I think that it would be completely worth it. I would feel whole again.

There's moments I have where I wish I could go back in time to stop certain events happening in my life, however if those events didn't happen I don't believe I'd be the person I am today.
So I don't think it be a wise choice for me to want to go back in time.

I think going back in time to change the things we want to change would do nothing to exempt us from all the possible outcomes there would be after we made the changes. It's like crossing a shallow river full of stones. There are endless paths you could take, but there's always the possibility that any of them could lead you to get your feet wet.
