֍ ARE THERE OTHER SACRED SCRIPTURES/BOOKS BESIDE THE BIBLE? ֎

Are there other books that are as sacred or more sacred as the Bible?

If "YES", do you question anything that is written in those scriptures/books, etc.?

My favorite book is the world.

Sometimes questions arise, other times none.

Presumably, you mean within Christianity?

Actually, most scripture remains apocryphal, that is, they were not included in the Bible. My favourite one is the Book of Enoch, which is part of the Holy Bible in the Ethiopian church, but not elsewhere. It is well worth a read.

However, if you're interested in the origins of the Bible, where it all came from, Sumerian texts, such as the Enuma Elish and Gilgamesh are also worth looking at. It will make you understand the Bible a lot more.

Mine is ' The book of life '
Some pages are happy others sad, some are boring but others exciting. Each day is a new page which I try to fill with joy and happiness, sometimes I fail but still continue to turn the pages to see what the next one has in store. When I come to the end of my book I can say the pages have been well read

Yeah I think they made the Book of Life out of the Tree of Life.

With no disrespect intended the Bible is not “sacred” - it’s the will and the works that make things sacred, not mere words and beliefs.

As to holy scriptures, yes, there are many much more judicious and sacred even than the Holy Bible, IMO.

Hello Janielee

The world is not mine. Nothing to be jealous of...

You are in the world I "read".
