I don't doubt it at all! I love crows and ravens, and I've been working with wildlife animals for about 4 years now. The wildlife rehabilitation center I volunteer at used to have a crow and he quickly learned a few English words. I think in general, corvids (crows, magpies, jays..etc) are very intelligent.
Last week I had a bluejay inquisitively observe me from below, peck on my head and rest on my shoulder.

I don't doubt it either. I love crows too.
You must have some wonderful experiences, Dante - I'd love to have the opportunity to do what you're doing.

You know, I'm not surprised.
I always did think crows were pretty bright!
What a wonderful job you have Dante!

I have seen several articles, videos, etc on crows and crow intelligence. I always had a fascination with crows and I sort of always knew they were a lot smarter than people thought, and so it was very interesting to learn and see those things! They are definitely one of my favorite animals.

Check out this video from the BBC,how these crows managed to learn how to crack nuts by using traffic & pediatrician walk way. Just brilliant.
