My Mother

The real issue I'm questioning since yesterday, is how I felt the power of mother nature herself come up through my hard wood floors and into me. I had a vision from her that it was OK to use wood, because she told me it was just like shavings of her skin for me to use. My question is, what about all of the non biodegradable waste we produce? What will she do with it? Will she eventually die from us?

IT's a good question and I sense a no for this. It will hurt us more than mother nature.

Wood is an acceptance because it gives us shelter and fire. But its up to us to go eco if we want to make a favor for her as she has done for us.

Y'know, this has actually been a thought of mine -- it's related to your post. What about all of the wood we use for non-essential things such as aesthetics? Like deck railings and beams that are nice to look at but we don't need? Those things used to be alive. Now -- nothing more than something pleasing to the eye. Where's the respect for life that we once had? Where did it go?

I mean at one point in time we were in a struggle for survival. We've won the game now. The game is over and we've won. Why can't we just go back to our roots now and love life? We got this -- we don't need the mentality of subjugate EVERYTHING in our path do we?

Just my thoughts.

i don't think the timber industry realizes we need trees to breathe. not to mention it's a toxic industry-they use mercury in the processing.
