IT
Hi: I have an favorite author and teacher that some of you might like. His name is Chuck Hillig [link removed. Refer to promotions/advertising policy-Staff]
and he has written a very funny yet profound book called: "The Way IT Is", in which he explains how all that there is, is IT (or You).
In the book, Chuck explains to a Seeker that everything in the entire cosmos is IT, including the Seeker. After a brief discussion of this IT thing, the Seeker finally gives in and says, "Yes, but if all of IT is really true, then how can I best learn to live with IT?" [My eyes opened wide since I also want to know what to do with this profound and sweeping information/knowledge] Then Chuck simply says, "Well, you can start today by fully embracing your life both with (and AS) the "It-That-You-Are". Celebrate! Enjoy IT! Appreciate IT! Love IT! Be grateful! You are IT, so just accept your self and then go on living as before but with the knowledge that this is all YOU! You are LOVE ..... loving Itself."
I have owned this book for a long time and often re-visit Chuck's simple teachings/pointers in his IT book and there are times when I can honestly feel and know the truth of it. I am IT and IT is all that there is!
So, are you IT? If so, what are you dong about IT? Can you feel your self as IT - all that there is? If not, what would it take to help you know that you really are IT?

Jimrich,
Thanks much for the reference to Chuck Hillig's web page, which I've bookmarked for future reading. Interestingly, Mr. Hillig lives near my youngest son in Virginia. I am looking forward to purchasing some of Mr. Hillig's books, and perhaps, even discussing them with him. Who knows?
I found that two of his favorite quotes match the understanding I've come to from my own studies:
The greatest obstacle to enlightenment is getting past your delusion that you are not already enlightened.
Ramana Maharshi
....and similarly,
The question is not what I should do in the future to get it, but rather, what am I presently doing that prevents me from realizing it right now?
Alan Watts
Am hoping that you also see IT "mirrored" in the reference I've included herein.
Again, thanks for your reference.
