Hi LIFE, we have to emphasize that self-forgiveness is higher.

may i ask for what are you asking forgiveness? i mean, is it some perceived general imperfection inherent of being a human? or are you guilty of some heinous crime?

"The general imperfection inherent of being a human".

Like that buddy!

Strangely when I accept this I feel like God. No joke. (well it is my understanding of God of course I don't know yours)

oh you know my "God". were it not for some minor differences of personal perception my "God" and your "God" is the same.

don't get me wrong though. those personal perceptions are those Love exploring variation of self that We find so beautiful.

i'm gonna go spiritual on you for a moment... i've experienced this on both sides, but there is more than one way of looking at it... now... i've always felt a connection to spirit, even though i was raised atheist... i've always felt that spirit was close to me, and they were... BUT... there was a time in the beginning when i got totally annoyed at spirit and the state of man... and spirit 'drew back' from me (but never left me), and i became more 'animalistic' so to speak... from this point of reference you might say that the lower self is the anamalistic self... the pure survivor... lots of people on this planet that live in this realm...

then one year later, not really realizing what was going on... i looked up from my book and said 'you're back!'... and they were, but they had just come closer to me, nobody is ever left absolutely alone...

on the other hand... there is the definition that the higher self is the spiritual being that we are, and the lower self is the identification to only the human self... personally i dont see it as good or bad, i like both parts of me...

then there is the definition of good vs evil... but, well, thats another story for another day... as you can see, there are many perceptions, so when you speak of it, just say which one you are talking about...

i contend "as above so below". that "lower" survival driven animal self is only different from the "higher" spiritual self in the way it manifests the drive to of survive. the spirit self is the knowledge/belief in survival after physical death. it's as survival driven as any instinct driven primate based self.

yeah it does make a difference... and no matter which i understand... they're still going to have to wrestle life out of my cold dead fingers 'thank you very much' lol...

i think going primal is good for the soul every once in awhile... and as i dance around the bonfire howling at the moon... i enjoy both aspects... (smile)
