The paradox of trying to do good

In my personal experience, when I try to change things for the better, like its a responsibility, it doesn't work, anything I do will amount to nothing in the end and the darkness will gain the upper hand. But letting it all go and just being in the presence of God with no desires, this is another thing altogether.

Ah, trusting God...I love it!
Altho, I find desires to be a driving force for most things. Even Jesus, said, SEEK...for many things...behind seeking is desire, imo.

I'm not Buddhist - I don't think desires are the cause of suffering...unfulfilled desires...sure! Ha!
But I know what you're saying, I do.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
