Considerations 121 …

Why is it so hard? …

Who hasn’t thought … why is all of this “Truth” or “Reality” stuff easier to learn, accept, and live within? Why is it all so difficult? Why is the “correct” or “ultimate” path so hard to find?

The main reasons why it all seems so “secret” is mainly two-fold … our old beliefs … accepted via many, many previous lifetimes … are founded on slowly-evolving traditions and accepted dogma and these traditions do not include that which is in actuality … the real overview of Existence. It’s simply not taught openly to us. Throughout the eons … those ancient teachers have given us small tidbits or parts of what Existence is … and as soon as they leave that lifetime … the information left by these teachers succumb to the interpretations of those that are left … and the misinterpretations feed upon themselves … slowly degrading … every deepening and leading us farther and farther away from the core principles the accepted lofty teachers left us. Look around … it is happening all around us … and we have the luxury of interacting instantly via the internet. All of this was previously shared by word-of-mouth. The core principles got watered down … then softened even more to make them more accepted … and then even more to draw the masses towards the various sets of teachings until we have what we have today.

Building upon all of this … and knowing the minds reluctance of holding strictly to its preferences as accepted by each individual … very few want to go beyond the traditions and accepted teachings of the religions. These sets of teachings are what the entire structure of the Lower Psychic Worlds are built upon. These sets of teachings are what we use to understand and interpret our daily lives … at whatever state of consciousness we are living within at the moment. We would neither recognize nor accept what is beyond these sets of teachings. It is a very slow unfolding from the high mental sets of teachings … mostly the Eastern traditions … and on up and beyond these teachings into the more mystical teachings … such as the Sikhs or the Essenes or the Gnostics … and it takes forever to work beyond these to eventually begin to uncover and eventually work beyond these esoteric regions.

In the end we end up fighting our own minds … since mind simply cannot accept what is found to be “beyond” the mental regions … no matter what the mind claims to be able to do or understand. Mind does not … and cannot … take itself on up into the true spiritual realms of the Pure God Worlds. Mind will squawk endless that this is untrue. For those that are acceptant of what the Lower Psychic Worlds have to offer … the inquiry is needless. These individuals can simply continue their existence with what works for them at the time. Without a doubt … the mind loves these areas … for indeed … the Lower Psychic Worlds are composed and sustained via the Universal Mind forces. Mind … makes these worlds. Why … would it ever want to leave them? There is an endless fascination of these worlds for mind to ponder, dissect, categorize, analyze, and define. It is a constant mental Disneyland. There is *nothing* wrong with this. This is the natural home base of our educational experiences for each individual lifetime.

Since Soul is unable to distinguish Itself from mind during these times … the mind takes over and runs the entire show … so to speak. Soul becomes a slave to the mind and its beliefs … happily so in the beginning … not so much as we discover and progress on into the higher mental realms of philosophy and religion.

As stated in the last post … we are not taught that there is an entire “set” of dimensions or planes or levels above the Lower Psychic Worlds. This is all pre-manifestation stuff. There is no “form” here … there is no negative element here to bring about structure and form. This has been discussed before. The Pure regions of Existence would be as the white areas of the hour glass … it would all bottleneck as it lowers into the Lower Psychic Worlds starting with the etheric or subconscious areas … and would continue its increasing solidarity as it lowers still into the physical realms.

Mind has always tried to bring the understanding of what would be “beyond” mind and would be found in those mystical and unknown worlds that would be “beyond” mind … down into the mental realms so that they can be mentally understood. This blurs everything together … and can never be resolved by the mind itself. The old adage of “All Paths lead to God … “ … is somewhat true. All the various sets of teachings lead to the bottom of the bottleneck … indeed … all somewhat heading back to the unknown core Existence … but the bottleneck stops this progress … due to various safeguards put in place by the initial design of Existence Itself … and there is such a massive Void right below the bottleneck that it stops all attempts to move beyond it all.

There is no shortcut … there is no sneaky way around it or through it. We cannot claim that we have advanced on through and into the upper areas until we have actually done so … and these steps … for the reasons of keeping these regions pure … can be taken only by being taken into those pure regions by a true authentic Master that has been there before and has earned the right to be called an authentic Master. There are recognizable inner realizations that take place with this ultimate step and entrance can be validated by the experience itself. There are spiritual perceptions … not mental … not emotional … not physical … but spiritual perceptions that one discovers when there … and only there … that proves to Soul Itself that It has indeed entered into another level of Existence.

There is a period at this time when mind discovers that it is losing its control over what the individual is experiencing … and mind will put up a frantic battle … promising ANY-thing … declaring ANY-thing … to maintain its status … and even then … it is up to the individual Soul to hold to Its learned disciplines that got It to that “point” and to gain a strong foothold … so to speak … in a set or regions It has not been into since Soul’s initial and individual creation.

Remember the hourglass scenario. Since everything is due to states of consciousness and various frequencies or vibrations … Existence doesn’t really hold to the “form” of the hourglass … but the image carries the necessary principle. There is a “set” of “Pure Worlds” above the known and taught Lower Psychic Worlds. The constricted middle is not one of size or space … but that of a massive change in the nature of the dimensional levels involved … and this changing restriction is preceded by a massive, deep Void. Few … if any - get by or through this Void unless or until taken through said Void by someone who has done so many times before … or … an authentic Master.

Considerations 122 …

A Corner Must be Turned …

There are two rock-solid principles that prevail within the Lower Psychic Worlds that each and all must learn and then deal with … but only after seemingly countless battles directed against these principles. Only when beginning to direct yourself against them will you find out just how much mind loves the habitual … that which you have relied upon for many, many lifetimes. I have mentioned these two principles before … yet they are so important and controlling that I will mention them once more … 1) … It is not what you have yet to learn that is so vital to working beyond the mental regions … but MUCH more in what we have left to give up … in terms of the “old ways” … and 2) … it is not that people are clueless … but that they believe in things to be true … that are not. The entire system of karma, reincarnation, and habit is the basis for the entire educational system here in the Lower Psychic Worlds because … it works. Couple that with the “safeguards” or the basic preconditions required to get beyond the mental worlds … it makes for a fail-safe schoolroom.

We become so complacent … so accepting of the perceptions we have about life around us that we don’t even inspect them anymore. We conclude … “I’ve got that issue figured out” … and we look elsewhere for advancement or continuation. Deep down inside … many of us have had whisperings that “this-or-that” needs to be addressed … needs to be revised … needs to be changes … but we find it is *much* easier to fall back on the old ways. “Why rock the boat … this works” … we ask ourselves.

And yes … maybe it does. We learn up to a level … say … a 6th grade level … and everything works to that level and will continue to do so … and while we are wholly acceptant of being in the 6th grade … why change? Admittedly … there is no need to change.

But if you are seeking the 7th grade … you cannot hold onto the 6th grade lessons and limitations and live from the more advanced view. There is a tendency to try and combine the two levels … but eventually … we move on. We can assist this move … or we can cater to the conflict.

Aristotle said … “Truth in itself is always obscure because it is usually behind intelligent and luminous things.” Consider that as a variation of the above.

We need to become aware of what mind is … and does … and when we get to the point where we wish to isolate the tool of mind so that we may better perceive as Soul Itself … then there is an entirely different way of approach. It is NOT done … mentally.

You will never understand until you get there … and getting beyond mind is not accomplished by claiming that we have done so. It is done by rebuilding our priorities … what we give our priority to … while taking full responsibility while here in the Lower Psychic Worlds.

Mind is always dubious, hesitant, skeptical … of moving beyond what it currently knows. What slowly becomes apparent is that it is not the gathering of information and data and wisdom that is important … but it is the freeing or liberation of Soul from the physical body. Soul Itself learns to step from the physical body and travel the inner worlds and then return to the current physical body to carry on ones responsibilities. Lucid dreaming is great first step in learning this process … and lifestyle.

Let’s just say … that you are in a familiar room or house at night … and the lights go out. Total darkness. You know the room … you know the house … but you have to use “other” senses to get around now … as you cautiously grope your way around. If this were to continue … you would certainly get better at it. If you went blind … why better way to learn? LUFE doesn’t care how one learns … only that one *does* learn.

This is how you approach going inside. You must begin to use senses that you have rarely used because they have been overridden by the physical body, the emotions, and the mind. Yes … you can sense with touch … but you begin to sense which direction to move … what is where … etc. You inwardly sense first … and finalize with physical touch. You are trying to learn a way beyond the entire Lower Psychic Worlds bodies.

When you settle for quietude … this is the moment when you are turning out the lights and being enveloped by darkness. Spiritually … Soul can begin to perceive Its way beyond the mental habits … this is when you become aware of just what and how extensive your mental habits are … so take broadening phrases and repeat them … hold to them … explore them … adventure into them … experiment with them … as you move more deeply into the invisible feeling of Life. Help mind become intrigued by your explorations. This is *your* game. Help mind become familiar with the new phrases and away from the habitual squawkings and chatterings. Make a list. Carry it with you. Find phrases that stimulate intrigue and broadening.

The quieting of the mind is still a step in the process … it is not an end result or ultimate goal.

There is no quick or immediate way to do this stuff. It must be done daily … and even better … a number of times a day … if you can find the time to be alone and quiet … with one or two periods being the primary times and the other times used for revision, etc.

Divine Spirit is invisible … and you are learning to work with that which is invisible within all of Existence … at the various levels … Divine Spirit and Spirit … within all of LIFE.

In the Lower Psychic Worlds … many teachers and “masters” can teach one basic math … or basic religion. A good number of them can help you move on to algebra … someone to teach you geometry can rather easily be found … fewer that will teach you calculus … fewer still that will teach you physics … even fewer that will teach quantum physics … yet to move beyond this into “universal equations and symbology” … and then beyond that … and on once again … the teachers are rare and hard to find.

As mentioned before … there *are* pre-conditions or requirements … but the finding of authentic Masters *is* possible … and the requirements of being an authentic Master demand that one has completed His training … so to speak … and can authentically lead others to complete their education … from the physical … which requires an authentic Master to be present on the physical … on to comprehending Self as Soul … and on to experiencing the true Core Creator God.

This can be … and has been done. Many times … faith that this is possible is what drives us on.

You cannot hope to take on the new while holding onto the old. You cannot hope to incorporate the new while promoting the old. You must turn the corner … recognize … and then build on the new … if you wish to move forward. Most all of us recognize where we hold to the old. One must learn to step into the new path … even if it is for “experimental” purposes. Try not to consider the new but still talk the old.

Many times mind will interpret stubbornness for strength. No one else can do all of this for you … you must choose to turn the corner and allow for the growth that is everywhere around you.

Considerations 123 …

Analysis Paralysis …

More often than not … the term ‘analysis paralysis’ is used in the financial field where individuals analyze stocks to determine which one to invest in … which is where I ran into the term … but there would be fewer phrases that would describe the tendencies and design of the mind in coming up with individual opinion and belief systems concerning the understanding of their own perspective on life … let alone God.

In times before mass media … information was gained via word-of-mouth or one-on-one. Now … with *so* much information to choose from … mind gets caught up in trying to decide which information to use as “valid and true.” One tends to head into over-analysis and over-thinking. This is not necessarily the “fault” of individual choice because this is the intent and design of the mind … to analyze / define / categorize / judge / label … and if one has an over-abundance of information … it’s like giving a bottle to an alcoholic. One simply cannot expect mind to do otherwise when left to its own preferences. You end up wrangling over the pros and cons of anything and everything. You gather more data to assist in making the choice … only to find that makes it worse. One becomes lost in the analysis of ideas and information.

Your mind will continue to think along the lines of the belief system you are currently holding to. Since mind is a facet / creature of habit … it will rarely give up preferred perceptions until someone or something over-rides the preference. Trying to force the giving up of a habit or perception only makes it become even more prominent.

One constantly gathers “evidence” along the lines of an already-established belief system to validate and strengthen ones stance. There are times when one might eagerly gather new options … but the “putting into practice” is a slow process … unless desperate or forced … which again … tends to make it worse.

This leads to most people working much harder to stay where one is than to move out of or beyond. People often refuse to accept a defined principle because of the word used in the common definition … so … will make up their own word or come up with a dance-step around it and will fight the overall concept while the evidence “for it” is right in front of them. The bickering over the word ‘illusion’ is one example … over the word ‘vibration’ is another … whether there are past lives can be another … ‘duality / non-duality’ is another … the list goes on. The “answer” … or at least the “clarifying direction” is right there … but overlooked … often because it does not coincide with what one already believes … and it’s safer to continue to gather information to juggle and ponder … and to be part of the accepted crowd.

What you have always known to be true is always suspect … if you want to learn and grow. You can approach it all from the more broad overview … or from the more analytical / dissection / study the specifics attitude … which would be the mental approach.

You can begin to at least be suspicious of what you accept as true if many who hopefully knows as much as you do on a given subject begins to tell you that you might consider another approach. An old saying … if 10 people tell you you’re drunk - maybe you ought to lie down … often proves true. Another old saying about the forest for the trees … if 10 trees aren’t enough to obscure your perception that you are stuck in a forest … then try 20 trees … or 30. Eventually … you’ll have to drag out the chainsaw.

All that you believe right now … has gotten you to where you are … right now. Without any doubt whatsoever … if this stance fulfills you … stay where you are. There is absolutely no loss-of-face in holding to your current position on anything if this is what fulfills you. Certainly … there is a degree of common sense to this … if your current position revolves around drugs and booze ( etc ) … then that might not be the most beneficial for you … but … I believe we all know just how hard it can be to give up and move beyond this lifestyle. The religious and philosophical perceptions are often even more difficult to contend with or change.

Some people have played the Devil’s Advocate for so long … it’s become a lifestyle. It takes absolutely NO effort to contradict anything. Mentally … there is always a contradiction. It *does* provide a good degree of safety. It is not easy to move beyond. People often hold to … “You do not know how wrong YoU are … so that makes me even more right.” That rarely benefits either side of the consideration. Mind … is great at all of this.

Indecision often comes from the continuation of using old approaches to enter new territories. I offered a bit on this in my last post … where it was suggested that you cannot continue to hold onto the old while wanting to move into the new. One has to let go … and the dilemma often lies in just how to do that.

Our greatest problem tends to come from ignorance … but not necessarily because one does not know … but because one does not allow themselves to find out. We often wonder why everything is so “secret” … but it more often than not comes down to our refusal to allow “the new or unfamiliar” to work for us … and even to consider what would be “beyond” our current stance.

The best approach … again … is to go more broad … to “go higher” and at least experiment with the overall principle from which the specific came from. It is not a matter of gathering more data / information … but in how high the overview is … or not getting caught up in the specifics ( trees ) but viewing from a more broad perspective ( above the forest.) Again … it’s not a matter of data but that of approach.

Logic and reason are validations from ones past experiences. They are “safe” up to that point … but even so … this is a mental approach. Look for the foundations. Look for the more broad principles. Look beyond the traditional teachings if you wish to go “higher” in it all.

You live from the inner to the outer … you make your changes on the inner that will eventually show themselves to the outer senses … and eventually you will realize that it is ALL your inner perceptions. Your inner lifestyle will affect everything else. So the outer becomes an “illusion” … though it’s not really … for you MUST accept all responsibility of your both outer and inner life. You may believe that the “outer” doesn’t really matter … but you cannot totally disregard it. You must play the game of both sides of the coin. You cannot totally dismiss the outer … but it is the inner that takes priority.

It is a soft advancement. Try not to get frustrated with the slowness.

Considerations 124 …

The Path is Endless …

The Path is long … so very long. In the end one discovers that it is virtually endless no matter what status or level one has attained. There is always something more to learn … even for the authentic Masters.

There comes a time when you begin to see. You’ve been through 95% of the traditional teachings of the times … and you begin to sense beyond them. After working through the resentment of being misled by the philosophical and metaphysical salesmen … you begin to suspect … and to search for … the truths that are not easily attained … the foundations of these traditional teachings.

Perhaps here you might wish to pause for a while … to rest … to ponder an overview to gain perspective. Eventually you do discover that rather hidden step that is often in front of you. Opportunities are presented. Then you catch glimpses of even more. These have been previously overlooked.

Then in another lifetime or two you repeat the whole scenario … seeing farther … seeing more broadly … more of the Whole.

Eventually you learn enough techniques where you can take at least 20% control over your beliefs and limitations … what you do with them and how much they control you … and then you begin to knowingly build on that and revise your approach. Then you increase that to 30-40-50% … and you begin to gain some individual freedom … religion freedom … by living *within* the Law.

When you get to 60-70-80% … you’ve accumulated a major, major perspective on LIFE. This has taken *lifetimes* to develop.

You realize that if any information upsets you … it is your mental habitual viewpoints that are being upset. Now you know that mind is habitual and doesn’t like change. Now if you find that a particular belief should be questioned … you simply do it. You need to be honest with Self. This is key to discoveries. This is a massive lesson in discernment. You can certainly believe as you wish … continue to believe in the limitations because the traditions teach it so. The only person that suffers is … *you.*

You finally begin to understand that to try and use the mind to mentally understand the vastness of Existence … you realize that the mind is a tool and a good one … but it is not designed to understand to that extent. It is good for what it does.

A Cessna plane will do just fine if you wish to hop and fly around the world … but it cannot get you to the moon or beyond.

This is similar to what you discover. And yet … if you are wholly satisfied with spinning around the world … why bother looking more deeply? If the Lower Psychic Worlds are all you wish to know … then you are exactly where you wish and need to be.

I totally agree. Looking “more deeply” is *not* for everyone. In fact … it is for the *very* few. Please remember … most … if not all of these posts are not for those that are content with where they are in the Lower Psychic Worlds. If you are content and wish to stay … you are not only “where you are supposed to be” according to your preferences … but you have a much easier path than those who wish to move beyond … a rather unbelievable statement until one actually tries to do so.

You finally figure out that living within the Whole of Existence is
not the constant ecstatic high … the bliss … the ecstasy …
that everyone dreams of. It is certainly not the depressive, frustrating,
aggravating experience either.

You learn to live to be content … and you are content because everything has been settled …
not dismissed … not erased … but understood as all working parts of the Whole. It all fits together. And
you are a working part of it and you are not here to prove anything to anybody …
unless or until they are ready to interact on at least a somewhat similar
level of experience.

Mind does not easily accept anyone talking beyond them.

It’s not a matter of learning a lot of data and assembling a list of how-to-do’s … but the secret lies in the attitude of approach … the discerning overview that lets you know where you are and how you can be a working part of it all … to assist in the growth and the service of the continuation of LIFE IT-self.

You learn to accept and appreciate all those people who wish to continue to squabble over either / or … over if or if not … they are just fine where they are … and to allow and appreciate them in where they are and their own adventurous experience. You let them continue for as long as that fulfills them … for the constant bickering of it being either this-or-that can keep one busy seemingly forever. It’s a mental playground.

This is when it all becomes a very lonely path. Few walk alongside. This is one feature that keeps most everyone mostly acceptant of the status quo. You want to tell others that conventional teachings do not hold the deeper truths. There is tremendous resistance and simple dismissal when you try to even hint to the masses.

There is very little communication between those who know and those who don’t … and we may try to discover and design that elusive dialogue that others will listen to but it will not happen. We are always looking for that “secret” communication. Until the other person becomes receptive … little will happen. The other person needs to have at least a few of the experiences that will inwardly show him the truth of what you say and then they may listen to more.

You also learn that one of the basic approaches of the mind is to make everyone else change *their* behavior or beliefs so that said individual does not have to. It is not difficult to understand that you learn nothing by living this way.

And slowly the lessons of all of this add themselves to what you already know. One can easily become incredibly rebellious and bitter … but with enough insight … and with suspecting what will be and is necessary to truly walk those far-reaching steps beyond the norm … you realize that there is no other way to learn and live the degrees of persistence, strength, courage, devotion, forgiveness … and many more. How else can such degrees of the moral and ethical attributes be learned?

Logos …

I recently did a quick web search to find out what the various traditional teachings had made out of the word ‘Logos’. It is not often that I even see the word and I admit I use other words to convey the same understanding. It didn’t surprise me when I found the word to have been vastly corrupted, misinterpreted, and misused. The word has been around for beyond eternity but it has had plenty of time to be tweaked to mean just about anything by the Universal Mind and its teachings … and certainly far from what its initial meaning is.

The much higher understanding of the word Logos refers to the Music of the Spheres … the Musical life Current … the Sound that emanates from the Core Creator God ( staying generic here ) that first sets all in motion … so to speak … and begins the design work of all life from the Center on down … again … so to speak. This music can be heard *only* with the inner ears of Soul Itself … and if one believes that it is somewhat difficult to open the spiritual eye or the third eye … opening the ears of Soul comes after that. “Sound” comes first in all creation … followed by the Light. The predominant religions and philosophies teach only of the Light. It is quite difficult indeed to find any real teachings concerning the Sound Current … but the teachings can be found.

This inner, rather mystical Sound is *not* heard by the outer ears and is most often heard *only* within a very deep, inner, personal Silence … although obviously … if one has the degree of inner Silence to actually hear any of the Sounds of Divine Spirit … inwardly … it is *not* silent.

The word “Logos” itself can be accepted as being Greek in origin … and meant speech or word or utterance … but even the Greeks took it into the mental realms by claiming Logos to mean divine reasoning that makes sense out of the world … although they did try and keep it in the realm of “creation.” Eventually it came to mean “an appeal to logic” … bringing it nicely down into the mental realms.

Other words and understandings of the celestial music or Sound comes from the Vedas … and they somewhat refer to a transcendence of the Sound. Nada is another word often used to refer to the same general experience. Shabda often means “obtaining knowledge” or sometimes gives “authority” to the Vedas. The Buddhists often use the word “akasha” but this is often used as a reference to “space.” Sometimes the Hindus use the word “akasha” to mean the essence of all things in the material world or sometimes means “upper sky.”

Dealing directly with the Sound … the Sound that actually emanates from the Center of Existence … nudges the fortunate individual who hears the Sound into Graduate work. This celestial music offers many emanations … from actual musical movements to singular sounds. Many of the old classical musical masters heard this sound and tried to put it into musical donation in their symphonies. It is not difficult to understand that the vast majority of what “comes into” the individual does so via sight and sound … yet sadly … sound is often neglected in the overall understanding of Life.

It is difficult enough to develop an understanding of the Light … which is simply the reflection off the moving atoms in space … giving all their seen “form.” Even many of the current scientists accept that everything ( in the Lower Psychic Worlds ) is composed of the same generic atomic structure and the various forms come from the differing vibrations giving structure. Water can get a gas, a mist, a liquid, a solid ice mass, a cloud, etc. … all the same atomic structure but moving at different rates. All the different forms and structure of the Lower Psychic Worlds are “made” or designed in the same fashion. Wood, stone, fire, planets, physical bodies, etc. … again … all composed of the same generic atomic energies of the Lower Psychic Worlds.

There are some in the forum board that dispute the reality of the principle of vibration … and that is certainly acceptable for any to believe. There are many in the world that dismiss reincarnation … and these people weave their understandings around to fit that perspective. That certainly does not eradicate the principle of reincarnation in the Lower Psychic Worlds but simply affords that individual to uncover the understanding and necessity of the principle later on in their overall experiences. Again … this is the same as understanding basic math while the teachings and understanding of algebra, geometry, physics, etc. … are yet to come. Same thing. The understanding of vibration and many other valid and important principles are uncovered in their own time by each individual. We are little more than a slowly learning creature via personal and direct experience.

Soul Itself delights in visual Light and especially in imagery … although Soul would not uncover and understand this until much later in It’s education. This is one of the reasons why the television and the cell phone are so quickly accepted. Nothing like a series of visual images flashing before our eyes … physical or other wise.

At a much deeper level is Soul’s appreciation for Sound … and it behind our preference for the sound of ocean waves, wind through the trees, rain on the roof, or music in general.

Soul can use Its imagination freely … and often does … sometimes beneficially … sometimes detrimentally. Soul … most often because of the interpretations of the mind … can imagine the seeing of many visions … and these are often given great importance within society. No doubt … these help to point out just where one is apt to be on the overall Path. The difference between “imagining” a vision or an auditory experience is a high test in discernment … not easily distinguished … the discernment not easily won.

The fact that the concepts of Sound being brought down in the the mental worlds … certainly into the various religious scriptures as being “from God” … is not surprising. Mind must believe that it is the way to understand … all. I have bantered this about way too often to give it any more room here.

Actually seeing pure Light on the inner is a wondrous and lofty experience … and it is a long time in coming. Moving on to the hearing of the inner sounds … in Its various facets … is the next development. Once these two are being lived within the individual … one can expect an authentic Master to then enter their consciousness. It is the natural sequence as the individual unfolds in their understanding of Life as the Whole that It is.

That might give you a very valuable hint as to where you are in your own understanding Life. When anyone discovers brand new information … they tend to push it away. That you accepted it shows familiarity … most probably from past lives. Perhaps you travel better than you believe. Many times these small, quiet recollections are are rather rare and many times disregarded.
