When You Come Back

When you come back, Lovey,
Your pillow is still there
In the sun for you
Just as you left it.
See you on the Other Side.

RIP Lovey, June 2021

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Exquisite. I understand this is a reply to another member's poem.

How would you convey it in a plainer, more everyday way?

Last edited by Miss Hepburn : 08-12-2021 at 05:41 PM. Reason: Shortened quote as Admin has asked to 2-3 sentences

Reminder to keep the quoting of others to 2-3 sentences as the Admins have asked, thanks.
You can always refer to the post # if that helps.

Oh, I was not replying to another members poem.
I had googled the poem types you wrote and seen this meaning for surrealist poetry:
Quote:
A literary and artistic movement of the 1900s that attempts to express the workings of the subconscious
So I just said oh, I can do that. So I just looked within and let'er rip.

How would I explain that quoted portion plainer?

It is a reference to my inner Heart workings.(which I consider to be my subconscious)
That of my true Being of Light and that of my made up ego.
A sort of dance battle at times.Or think Yin-Yang symbol.

Then the rest of the poem is my True Being of Light overcoming the ego when I no longer have my Earth suit.
I do thank you so much for the kind question.

EDIT: Though I did plagiarize the word effervescent from either Unseeking Seeker or Miss H. many Moons ago.

Yes, only I may use that word effervescent! How dare you!

The realness of being alive

Sheer wetness of rain

fruit of fleeting moments

Rawness of the leopard

When something is felt and understood as
Itself, there is union and expansion of
One's self.

Ember

Set the night on fire

with the passion

of your burning Solitude

Tip of an incense-stick

Smouldering, thick aromatic smoke

Untying the knots

Sun-rise glows

Orange-red, behind peaks

Ice-sheet comes undone

Slides down

the mountainside
