When The Fools Come Marching In

When the fools come marching in
This is when it begins

When the fools tell me how it is
I go look deeper within

When the fools seem to think
They know what's on my mind

And so I ask, who is blind?

Looking at the big picture
And all that has been

Looking back at my reflections
The fools can't get in

But the fools think they know

My heart
And my mind

I care not for theirs
For they are blind.

They are on the borders
And ready to come marching in

They told you why
Who is moving in?

When the borders are getting thin
When the world comes marching in

All you can do
Is push back

Aggression and the aggressors
Leave no room for mercy

Do you know why?
Because everyone has gone insane.

I have been marching around, looking like a clown.
One day it's all frowns
One day it's been manic smiles.
Most days I feel just like a clown.
Stumbling around
Turning tables upsidedown
Making children laugh
And old women frown
At the bottom of my blues
I am turning around and around
Looking up
Looking down
Am I just a clown?

A Man With A Gun

I was walking through time
And enters a man with a gun
He said stop right there
So I did
If you come any closer
I will shoot
So I did
I could see he was hurt
He was attacked before
I turned to walk away
That was all I remember
Of that dark day
The next thing I could see
Was hard to believe
There once was water on mars
And look at it now
All because of a man
With a gun
The wind continues to blow
Across the martian land
As we send rovers to see
What once was
And could be

The internet seems to get in the way.

Trying so hard to see past the world of confusion

Tipping Nines

I awoke walking through secret places and there was this old man tipping nines into sixes...
Six Angels showed up with diamonds for eyes as they laughed and walked away with the old man's eyes...
Blinded by what I saw I kept attentive to the show because who knows if my number would come up next...
Seven saints came floating in with arms opened wide and the angels at their sides with diamonds for eyes...
They took a look at me and offered me a book of threes that they said would heal me so I took it just to take a feel...
Oh, what wonders can be found in books could this be it as it was more than just a book it explained all the rules that I could not see...
I handed it over to this fairy that was passing by and she took it and gave me a hard look and put back my eyes and I said thank you...
Now I could see again but things seemed different and I could not tell what changed but it started to rain...
The rain tasted like sweet wine as it was meant to eat so I put my tongue out to take in every drop I could feast ...
My stomach started to hurt not understanding what I just felt or had eaten but I was OK just a passing rumble it seemed...
I started to feel very tired and I could just sleep as the rain stopped I simply needed some peace..
Then a little thought entered my head that I had full control of as it wobbled around my mind's eye and then left out my ear..
That's when it came to me, I had no fear I was having a lucid dream and fell into a deep sleep my alarm set for nine.

The Back Ground Noise

In life, there is the background noise
It keeps on playing awake or asleep

It's impossible to turn it off.....

And when it's off, you are not there to know why
I just ignore it most of the time

And I would be lying to you if I said
It did not make a noise

So I am listening
But not to you...
