But, ONE small thing I do to foil the 'bad side' of the ego (think of cartoons) is to do exactly

It's called being in tune with your soul, your true self...and your best spiritual interests.

PHILOSOPHY

My definition is pretty close to the one highlighted in the definition.

As the ego (a.k.a. outer-self) is the aspect of your whole personality that interfaces with the physical reality (created by your subconscious), the inner-self is the aspect that interfaces with the non-physical reality (using inner-sense). They aren't two selves; they are two aspects of the same one self (maybe that's what non-dualism refers to (?))

Have you ever researched ways you can move on?
It helps - and then implementing them, of course. Ha!

I found trusting in the System created by 'the Creator' helped me be more peaceful in whatever happens and whenever and wherever I go.
Meaning, trusting that I'm in the perfect place to learn and develop 'my soul' or heart and mind if that is more relatable.
(Down to daily life and all it's ups and downs...all for me to learn and grow.
In other words using the 'downs' as opportunities for more patience, flowing, forgiving and detachment.
Even as a Mod getting guff! Lol!)

You saw I cheated lol. By what you're saying.. I guess I am letting go of my ego. Part of my mantra is to Be still and let things come as they may. I try to feel a sense that I'm letting life flow without interfering. I tend to dissect things to much. I have to constantly remind myself to keep things simple.

From what I've read.. when you're ready to come back " wanting to experience more emotions and experiences" you will decide the type of life you want to have. You will agree to certain terms and decide when you will exit the new life. I'm not sure if we are talking every single moment. Perhaps the main crossroads and events like that. In an odd way this is a big part of free will.

I think once you have a thirst for life and find your passion that you'd also choose to come back. If your a natural lover I'd say you'll be back simply for the love of it all. Amen
