For followers of Jesus' words...ya don't have to be Christian, even...
it is easy not to be fearful or miserable.
Why?
Because you can use his teaching, his words as major arrows to follow in life no matter what ...
no matter any circumstance...like using a trusty umbrella - in rain, in sleet, in snow, in ashes or in sunshine!
No matter what ! Good for ALL situations, (gets easier with practice).
And those pointers are: 'Do not worry', 'Do not be afraid',
''Cast your cares, Be anxious for nothing '' (ok apostles said some things,too).
After awhile you see when you cast these things far away from you ...those directions WORK!

Look at Stephen.... the first martyr: he was not a 'Christian'. The word Christian came into existence about 3 decades after Stephen's death.

Those that believe him over errors translated in by the religion that came out of Rome. Like at John 17:3--Jesus tells all- the one who sent him( Father-John 5:30) is THE ONLY TRUE GOD. |

Again, 'sent him', pretty darn clear!
Just as when asked Jesus said, 'Our Father Who art in Heaven'.
