Yeah, see!
How easy it is to relate when you’ve made the right connection
It’s not like the Irish would have developed fondness for the honey-water yesterday.

I did not want you think I was ignoring these previous posts.
I am still going through the series of these vids.

Oh, but I should add that the gold plating is cool but one may get a serious case of mercury poisoning.

Yes, sounds very Beaker (Indo European) of Steppe origin.
Feasting, drinking, eating horse meat (like holy communion), swearing of oaths ….
I think Sweden especially, was good at keeping up with the times – The Bell Beaker times, the only difference to British Isles was that the original male population was not replaced/eradicated by R1b. Sweden still is largely Y-dna I, the original, hunter-gatherer I male lineage, although the rest of the genes might have changed considerably.

Okay I heard some interesting stuff in this lecture.
Can't say I followed most of it.
Thought you sentient might find something interesting in it, but then it may be old news for you.
There is one brief part on Sami @ 25:34.

I guess it is a bit like with the Kennewick man. Colonialists wanting to prove Europeans were the first people to enter Americas and not the Amerinds themselves.
And if that doesn’t work, then the argument is: “It doesn’t matter who was here first. What matters is who fought for the land and won”.

Or alternatively, the need to ridicule:
https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/...0/487/f2d.jpeg

In fact - Saami should be listed right below Lithuanians in that picture.

Brits really got a shock, when the original European hunter-gatherer was depicted as dark skinned, hence the ridicule – whereas we were used to those throwbacks:

So, I’d like to play this, as I hate the bloody racism, no matter to whom it is directed:

Which is also why those Rathlin samples carried some Amerind dna.

I ran across a talk about the Rathlin samples today.
I found it funny since they found the samples behind a pub..LOL
How fitting, if they are the same samples.

Oh here is an article of the pub and find in Rathlin Island in N. Ireland at McCuaig's bar.

What people do not realize is that the Uralic language was an expansion of Uralics into Fennoscandia (later on).
Saami originally spoke a forgotten language i.e. became language shifters, just like Europe did with Indo-European language spread.
