Curious candles

Hello everyone, I have a question. I just recently auditioned for a project that I wanted really bad, and I had plenty of time to meditate on it. So with this project,which is in the entertainment field.I nailed the project to the wall, and lit 2 candles, which was dressed. and while I was meditating on a particular Psalms, psalms 5:1 to be exact,and as I was meditating on that particular verse, I was thinking about the project.well to make a long story short after the candles burned, I felt good about it, but I didn't get the project. But what I did get a couple days later,was another project. it wasn't as big but it was still a project, in the entertainment field. The question I have is, how is it that you can meditate on a particular project and not get it but you bring in another project that's lesser, that pays lesser. Did I do something wrong?

No, I don't think you did anything wrong, it probably wasn't right for you and the powers that be knew that, or this different project could bring something into your life that you need, and you probably won't realize what it is until after that fact.
