Hey There

I met a guy earlier this year at a conference. We were kissing goodbye and a song called "Hey There Delilah" came on my phone's Pandora. I only knew him for two days, and we hung out one night having a rather long and steamy make out session. It was an overwhelming feeling meeting him. I felt this overwhelming sense of attraction...I just could not stop kissing him. It was not like me. In fact, I was not even supposed to go. I ended up with free tickets and free lodging, so I remember thinking, "Fate wills it, I shall listen" :) I remember meeting him and having an immediate sense of attraction and just really enjoyed talking to him. I did not want to stop being with him.

Weeks after the conference, I was still unable to get him out of my mind. I tried. After a particularly weird day of small synchronicities, I was feeling a bit perplexed and a bit weary. I asked a woman that I've known for about 10 years for a reading...something I've never done before. She told me that spirit had a message for me. I just laughed and said, "Yes, I know. I wish Spirit would hurry up."

I fell asleep listening to Pandora. Just before midnight, I woke up to a very eerie, disruptive song playing...rather unusual for the pop station I listen to usually. The tone was enough to rouse me from sleep. When I went to change the station, I saw the album cover for the song. I was so stunned. I'd never seen it before. And it just said "SPIRIT". It was a Bryan Adams song.

I froze. My hand started shaking. I suppose that I was even a bit scared. I KNEW spirit was trying to communicate with me (though I've doubted it on and off since then). I realized that the next song would be my message. I absolutely *knew* it. I was afraid to hear it. When the next song came on, and it was Hey There Delilah, I think I just laughed a bit out of relief.

Since that occurred, I've gone from absolutely believing spirit was sending me a message about this conference guy....to thinking I'm crazy. And there's been more, of course.

What do you think? Random coincidence, or meaningful?

I personally think that would be a sign from Spirit. If you ever have a coincidence that is meaningful and pertains to a situation in your life, then that is a synchronicity, which means meaningful coincidence. They say our Guides angels etc... send us signs through numbers, music, pennies, rainbows, random thoughts or words.

Maybe Ask for another sign? Ask for a sign that is noticeable easier and understandable to confirm things. Also you could always say that if something happens out of the ordinary it is a message. OR if something keeps showing up 3 or more times its a sign too.
