Message of a white dove?

Yesterday on Christmas, I noticed this beautiful white dove flying outside behind our house. You couldn't miss this pure white thing flying around. Later, my kids run in yelling a bird is in our garage - guess who it was! The white dove was sitting on the floor in the back of our garage. It was so pretty. I don't think I've seen one outside of a picture. Finally my husband decided the dove had to move along back out into nature.

But since, I've wondered about this dove visit. If there was message in it. Any thoughts or interpretations?

Interesting day for it to show up. Doves are a sign of peace and white ones love. They are also thought to be a blessing from the holy spirit and on a very religious day seems quite a strong in your face sign. I suspect you are being told you are loved and to start paying attention to the signs more. They are real and they are the way our higher communicates to us. Follow them and you will be gently guided through life. Makes life a little less a struggle for sure.

Also I hope to be more aware of the signs/messages sent my way.

I don't like any of these birds but it happened before to dream of only one white dove like twice or 3 times in my life. It was a very very good omen each single time.

Thank you Checkmate! That's so encouraging. I and my family have made a huge move with all kinds of new beginnings, so I really am hoping for some blessings and good coming our way. :)

wow! what a lovely experience! I agree very much with Michelle11. Doves are a symbol of peace and the white dove of love. It is often used to represent the Holy Spirit.

Doves, like all birds, are messengers from the heavens. Some people believe that a white dove can be a message to you that whatever you've been worried about will soon be cleared up in a most positive way. So, if you have been thinking or worrying about something that you felt like it will not ever get 100% better--be aware that the white dove could just be telling you to believe it WILL improve 100%. It'll be interesting if something like this comes to be for you--the answer to your prayers type of a message. :)
