"Spiritual gastritis" on again. Guidance to "find joy". How to feel real joy?

I'm going through these stupid upper stomach issues again. Last night during meditation an angel came to me, showed me an image of a trumpet (a sign of ae Gabriel?) and told me to "rejoice". I've been guided to find joyful things in my life many times before but I always forget it when my stomach feels better. I often live with quite negative emotions: anxiety, depression, sorrow, anger... It's very difficult for me to find joy. I may be stressed because I have a lot of "duties" or work to do and not enough time for everything.
I also think I should do some long-term work to learn to think more positively.

Let's list here things that make us feel real joy! What kind of things make you laugh?

I can start with the first thing that came to my mind: find some funny youtube videos that make you laugh. Maybe create a playlist of them so you can easily return to them when you feel like it.

I can only speak for myself; I go through the majority of my days and nights very quiet inside. Positive is the opposite of negative, but for me that is a pendulum swing between two poles. I prefer inner silence, with inner silence I receive incredible clarity from intuition which is not thought based.

One of the biggest things which has helped me remain sane and successful in my life is being organized. I have a lot going on in my life and when I am organized, writing things down, keeping an appointment book, etc., I can see what I have to do and when I have to do it. Also put “me” time in your appointment book, time set aside for you to just relax, have an ice cream cone, or go to the park.

I began by organizing my thoughts and then organizing my outside world as much as possible. This includes my home. Stress puts me in a horrible place, so I exercise, take relaxing baths, and eat nutritious foods. Being organized can help you simplify your life. It also helps to have a support system of others.

An informal support system involves friends, family, acquaintances, social groups, etc., a formal support system involves professionals, counselors, therapists, your primary care physician, etc. In my opinion it is good to have both type of support systems, but most of all seek intuitive guidance. The universe is organized and it is helpful for us to organize our own individual universe and what revolves around us.

“You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars.”

Besides histamine H2 blockers and antacids, I found that Pau d'Arco tea helped me a lot. Pau d'Arco inhibits the growth of candida which can grow in your digestive system especially if you have been taking antibiotics for a while which kills off friendly bacteria.

The search for happiness is what everyone seeks but if the search is centred around attainment of an objective in the external world, no sooner we secure one object, the goalpost shifts and we want another, no different from a child craving for new toys.

Joy in permanence cannot be found in shape shifting illusions that appear and disappear. Instead, if we go in within, in staid silence, in thought rested stillness, simply poised in the void in agendaless vibrance and make this as our default orientation, then the choice to become empty as such automatically draws in grace magnetically. Bliss in permanence is fact not fiction but the approach requires flowing with ease like the breeze, shedding resistance, connecting rather than grasping, feeling, not thinking, employing heart, not head.

I often use this line ~ there’s nothing out there, everything is within.

Very good points you brought up to look within for spiritual growth to more permanent peace and joy.

While still in the physical form here as humans and not quite fully spiritual yet we could make use of things external of us to make our lives less stressful and more comfortable such as a smartphone to reach out to others quickly to receive or distribute information, heating for warmth, transportation to quickly move around town, make extra money to fix the leaking roof, and so on.

Practical spirituality.

The word balance is very appropriate. Be grateful for what we have, yet not be hesitant to acquire things or to use things of this world that will make living here while as humans more comfortable and efficient.

After all, we are not born here to suffer. And it is much harder to focus on growing spiritually to love when we are always hungry from being poor and shivering in the cold without a warm shelter.

All the best!

Love means to be happy with something or someone. Love determines joy, if we love something we are doing, it brings us joy, so in your search for happy joyful things all you have to do is think of things you absolutely adore, love. Being positive doesn't mean to be happy all the time, jumping up and down all the time , and it can not be done this way because we have things we love and things we don't , there has to be both to produce contrast and illustrate what you prefer and what you don't prefer, in my opinion a very smart system and most people don't know. how to use it.

Positivity is a response, a choice in how we navigate the ebbs and flows of existence. Our actions, thoughts, and reactions form a collective consciousness that seeks alternative paths. To be positive is to hold onto the belief that failure is not the end but simply a stepping stone—an opportunity to adapt and explore new approaches without letting setbacks define us. We never fail it is something that we are doing that fails, a method that we are using. People identify with this failure as a failure of their whole being not even considering trying again with a different method , and that produces depression, anxiety and so on, which is only a magnification of very basic emotions. Next time you feeling uneasy or not quite joyful think which emotion am I feeling right now, we humans only have 4 basic emotions : mad, sad, glad and scared, think which one of those 4 you are actually feeling, you may come to find which one is dominant in a particular situation and then you can work with it.
Aloha :)
