Have we seen God

Is not God a concept, till we see Him?
How will memorising scriptures assist?
Conditioned beliefs make our soul’s light dim.
Love alone is real and that’s life’s gist.
A Hindu believes God takes many forms,
whilst for a Christian, Jesus is the all,
Muslims adore Allah, Buddhists bliss storms;
myriad paths, that drive us up the wall.
First things first, let us find out who we are
because it’s clear, we’re more than body-mind.
God’s omnipresent, so he can’t be far.
Sages who saw Him, were with love aligned.
Is not attachment, the cause of sorrow;
regrets of past and fear of the morrow?

Regrets of past and fear of the morrow,
deflects attention from the here and now;
heart contracts as ego spawned fears burrow
deep in our core, since such thoughts we allow.
Back to the basics, we ask, who am I?
It’s said we are soul but we’ve not seen it,
yet whenever we err, we feel heart sigh,
so the lamp of love in heart must be lit.
We look to nature to set doubts to rest.
Doing nothing, we see a rose blossom,
so it’s sure we too will rise to the crest
and the secret lies, deep in our bosom.
The clue is simple as to how to start;
to introduce ourself, hand goes to heart.

To introduce ourself, hand goes to heart,
a move instinctive, because our soul knows,
that once head and heart do not stand apart,
the tree of love within us slowly grows.
So choosing to bend, that we may ascend,
we pause the cause of flow of turbid thought
and past relationship with ego end,
that in tranquil silence, we be self-taught.
The shift is easy and yet difficult,
since it does require taking back control,
surrendering membership of each cult,
including religions elders extol.
In timeless time, silence does enable,
our presence in the void, always stable.

Our presence in the void, always stable,
looks back at life led, knowing it’s a dream,
for sans identity, what’s the label
that may describe a beautiful moonbeam?
Layer by layer, concepts we held fade
and though we seek nothing, light within dawns,
felt as magnetism that assigns no grade,
imbibed without effort, as our soul yawns.
This current divine penetrates our form,
bringing with it deep wisdom from heaven
and were swept away in this benign storm,
that cascades within, through chakras seven.
Pathless is the path which we walk upon;
with each breath we take, we’re here now reborn.

With each breath we take, we’re here now reborn,
with our void-centric stance, bereft of thought,
bliss energising this form we adorn,
past fears and desires, are reduced to naught.
Life as impulsed, continues to unfold
but free from want we become nonchalant,
our aura inked with love, in hues of gold,
as God Himself becomes our confidant.
We see our true Self, resplendent with light,
as God, our Father, erases erst sin,
bestowing on us wisdom and clear sight
and having seen, we know, He dwells within.
Myriad are beliefs, to feed every whim;
is not God a concept, till we see Him?

Absolute Freedom

Freedom we seek is the ability
to dip in and out of domains we choose,
with agility and stability,
depending on flavour of our heart’s muse.

Drawing from aether, divine magnetism
shape-shifting as we like, on a mere whim,
music of spheres plays in mind-body prism,
as we conjure a lake, in which we swim.

Feeling God in each electron of space,
with time itself flowing at our command,
dreams manifest flow at an easy pace
and the source of it all, we understand.

The throb of innocence plays its refrain,
that we imbibe love and light, without strain.

While we gently sleep

God tends to our soul when we are asleep ~
Pure of heart then take a consciousness leap

To make heart pure, is a choice of free will ~
Cessation from desire, that makes thoughts still

Cessation invokes God’s bliss magnetism ~
Igniting head to toe, mind-body prism

Bliss currents amplify when we’re asleep ~
It’s then that soma nectar seeps in deep

God’s nectar transforms us as living light ~
We’re illumined then, by day and by night

Four paths of Tantra trika

1) Preamble

As breath’s created, sustained and destroyed,
we see trika, threefold aspect at play
through life, where we are by ego decoyed,
until we choose to make love our mainstay.
Beyond religions, scriptures and folklore,
let’s explore the direct path intimate
and immediate, where each pore’s a door,
bestowing God’s grace that does not abate.
Back to basics, we look at sun and moon
and heart’s fire that seeks bliss that does not end,
a burning yearning, humming a love tune,
to know by touch, how our soul does ascend.
We feel deep within, we’re more than this form,
whilst caressed by life’s breeze, both cool and warm.

2) First path - Krama or energisation

Whilst caressed by life’s breeze, both cool and warm,
we notice our awareness does not change,
as a witness that’s still in every storm,
recording events, both mundane and strange.
To meld with the screen upon which we dance,
we slow down by softening attention;
the vast void beckons, so we take a chance,
plunging therein in deep meditation.
In staid silence, we feel stirrings within,
of sublime magnetism ushering bliss,
gently burning ego, cleansing heart’s sin,
which our soul knows, is Divine Mother’s kiss.
This as Krama, is step by step ascent;
the truth is known, when will to God is bent.

3) Second path - Kula or celebration

The truth is known, when will to God is bent,
which awakens in us, Holy Spirit,
light that lights all lights, granting love consent,
transforming feeble form with steely grit.
Once love enabled, heart begins to sing
and as fears recede, joy begins to breed,
infusing in presence, zest, zeal and bling,
where doing nothing, we let bliss beats lead.
Flowing gently, mode embrace and release,
we accept all we chance to meet and greet,
our touch tender, like the fresh morning breeze,
frolicking in bliss that does not deplete.
This is Kula, path of celebration;
pure of heart entwine with God’s creation.

4) Third path - Spanda or vibration

Pure of heart entwine with God’s creation,
whereupon is heard cosmic gong of Om,
resounding from an unknown location,
where one with oneness, we know we’re back home.
The inner sound current fixates focus
and as we become a flicker-free flame,
love our flagship and also our locus,
we see glimmers of light in life’s end game.
As we are so meditated upon,
we hear within, throb of soundless thunder,
moment to moment, with each breath reborn,
we witness all this in childlike wonder.
This is Spanda, the path of vibration,
to embody truth, heart’s aspiration.

5) Fourth path - Pratyabhijna or recognition

To embody truth, heart’s aspiration,
requires direct seeing without mirrors,
laying within heart, wisdom’s foundation,
bereft of doubt that gives us the shivers.
Layer by layer, the false falls away
and we know we are Self, ensouling form,
so holding firm this knowing, night and day,
with the pulse of love, we always conform.
One day ego falls off, like a dead leaf
whereupon we see Self as living light,
which always was and is, what a relief,
with this truth known to us, by direct sight.
This is Pratyabhijna: recognition,
knowing truth of Self, in clear cognition.

6) Assimilation

Knowing truth of Self, in clear cognition,
makes us look at life as a lucid dream,
directed by God, who’s the magician,
birthing illusions which endlessly stream.
Like the eye of each storm, that’s always still,
with the flag of love within heart unfurled,
free from desires, we have surrendered will,
dwelling in the void, in God’s bosom curled.
We yet oscillate between here and there
but for the most part we remain awake,
touch gentled, our awareness self-aware,
rippleless consciousness calm like a lake.
What we’ve imbibed is yet to be ingrained;
our consciousness yet remains to be trained.

7) Epilogue

Our consciousness yet remains to be trained
but who ascends, when there is no one here,
so remaining empty, we are not strained
because we know in time God will appear.
He who sought to ascend has disappeared
and we see all that is, is God alone,
who dwells within, so what’s there to be feared,
since the wisdom is etched on heart in stone.
There remains now no agenda to state,
save witnessing soul blossom like a rose
and we are sure in time we’ll bilocate,
immanent and transcendent in repose.
The truth absolute is known in the void;
as breath’s created, sustained and destroyed.

There is no one here

If we are here and God out there,
organic form should be inert
but since His breath makes us aware,
is how bliss beats within us spurt.

It’s clear that ego’s our fault line,
corrected when head-heart align
and no sooner we disappear,
the truth of oneness becomes clear.

Thirst and hunger

He died and found himself in the bardo
A buffet was spread out with food and drink
A sagacious elder was distribution the coupons
But when approached he greeted him with a wink

You may drink if you have quenched a fellow souls thirst
You may eat to the extent of the hungry you have fed
But the akashic records show you’ve done neither
And have not lived a life by love and light led

Renewal continual

Why on earth would bliss effervescence pause
the bubbling renewal of love and light,
when vibrancy of presence needs no cause
to radiate in the void heart’s delight?

Be it in silence or midst or action,
innate to its nature, heart exults joy,
in time dissolved stillness gaining traction,
having no reason at all to feel coy.

Flowing gently, mode embrace and release,
pristine presence animates the vast void,
frolicking carefree as its heart does please,
for childlike heart is pure and unalloyed.

Come close dear heart to feel bliss beats renew ~
Each hue is new like the fresh mountain dew

What are we manifesting

The need to create is born in our heart
But heart’s desire is hijacked by ego
We see clearly head and heart stand apart
So cause of inner conflict we now know
We recognise why life’s hit a new low
Carrying a heavy load on our chest
Born of seeds of desires we chose to sow
What we manifest becomes our life test

To restore our soul’s light is a learnt art
Requiring of us to make our thoughts slow
Patterns of old as we reboot, restart
Life becomes easy, we begin to flow
We bend down low letting God’s grace endow
Control of life from our ego we wrest
That our heart may again be pure like snow
What we manifest becomes our life test

When desires recede, we see fear depart
Our countenance acquires a living glow
As we deem all souls as one, none apart
We’re quick to repay debts of love we owe
Garnering wisdom which we alone know
Whence with each breath we offer God our best
Making our touch gentle and heart mellow
What we manifest becomes our life test

Blissful in the boat God Himself does row
To embody love and light is our quest
Bliss beats within rise, we enjoy the show
What we manifest becomes our life test

In simple words

Speak not in riddles or metaphors
State the truth simply, in black and white
Are we not hemmed in by space and time
Bemused is mind and clouded our sight

The truth is simple, weary pilgrim
Rest ego spawned doubts and just know this
There’s nothing out there, God dwells within
As His child, we are love, light and bliss

The seeker who seeks does not exist
In truth, we are in a lucid dream
Silence is the tool that sets us free
The world is but thought, we chose to stream

Where lies identity when thoughts cease
Heart expands, one with the universe
We then are, awareness self-aware
Pulsating without need to rehearse

Know God is the light that lights all lights
Made in His image, we are as He
Discard all vicarious knowing
Break the mirror and directly see

Ambedo trance

As the one, resplendent in its light, reflected
It wished to feel the thrill of stark contrast
And so polarised its consciousness
Conjuring space, manifesting linear time
Fragmenting itself therein, alive in each form

With all minds entwined with universal mind
The thrill of illusionary descent was lost
So the veil of forgetting was imposed
That each aspect of the one enters trance
Deludedly believing it is a separate ego entity

This is where now the human race finds itself
Oscillating endlessly between joy and pain
Oblivious to the light of our true being
Refusing to acknowledge ego is an illusion
Although trapped in the open, we’re free within
