Point to ponder: The illusionary identity that believes in miracles knows not that it’s own higher self is creating them, in collaboration with universal consciousness.

I believe miracles do happen. Sometimes it just isn't the right time for a person to go and God/Spirit or whatever you like to call it steps in.

Native Spirit I know exactly the area you are talking about. It is beautiful but how terrifying to have a bad accident there. Your post must have stayed with me because I dreamt about the area last night! Thank goodness you were all ok.

The funny part of that is that road is very very busy yet when we were in the accident no cars appeared if they had I wouldn't be here now
my kids get nervous going over the Horse shoe pass now.
But a lot of people have gone there to commit suicide, people from all over the place flowers are often left there,

I can understand that Native Spirit.

Beachy Head is also such a place, not as beautiful but flowers left there.

Love this thread. One of my teachers asked me to look at my hand when I got out of bed each morning, before I stood up and to try to appreciate the miracle this hand was, how perfect and essential. To imagine life for a moment without it. It was incredibly moving to do this and when I spoke to him about it after practicing for several weeks, he asked me to extend that feeling to all of creation, it is all a miracle. and he was right it is, the normalcy of life makes us miss it.

The popular definition of a miracle is a very big or unlikely manifestation, but I don’t think that they have to be big, necessarily. I would define a miracle as a movement of the Divine/Spirit/Universe/Allah/Buddha (or whatever you like to call it) in your life. It could be something amazing like surviving a plane crash or an illness; or it could be something small like going home a different way and encountering something which benefitted you. Either way, it’s not something which you necessarily did under your own steam, the Universe helped you along the way.

These kinds of things can happen every day, we just need to believe in them. So many of us think that miracles are rare, and as a result, we rarely experience them. But if we believe that the Higher Power is always moving in our lives, and that miracles happen often and easily, then they do.
