Alone

[Unseeking Seeker]

Fear
sets in
once we see
that we may be
cornered, encircled,
with ominous outcomes
likely dark fate staring us
even as we see helping hands
withdrawing, leaving us here alone,
beginning the countdown to the gallows.

Be this as it may, we soon regain calm,
looking fear in the eye and smiling,
doing whatever best we can,
then accepting the fallout
with courage and resolve,
playing out the dream,
in as ordained
taking all
in our
stride.

[Unseeking Seeker]

Time
flows on
known to us
as the movement
between two events
manifested in vast space,
either by senses or thought,
thus when we rest in tranquil calm,
thought rested awareness, simply is,
beyond time and space, in void of stillness.

Beyond senses five and fragmented thought,
screen of consciousness is yet alive,
appearing and disappearing
as chosen by our impulse,
signalling noumenon
births phenomena,
which we call life
as we cling
to these
dreams.

Blind
men lead,
we follow;
dead men walking,
clutching wisps of smoke,
enslaved by fearful doubts
encircling our consciousness,
hoping against hope that somehow
the pseudo preachers words heals our soul,
entrapped within this feeble mind body.

Oh hermit, why do we flounder about
hither and thither in the darkness,
when Gods light is aglow within,
albeit for this time veiled,
with all that is needed
to reclaim clear light
is our resolve
to meld thus,
head with
heart.

lower and higher minds entwine
resonance preference assigns
going where bliss hues souls ensconce
looking not at love throbs askance
vaporised self becomes divine

Use
of force
to attain
our hearts desire
makes us a doer,
applying own effort
to attain sought after goals,
displaying lack of trust in God,
unwillingness to let go of mind,
thus creating a wall of resistance.

Far better then, to choose resonation,
with vibrations of the universe,
pouring into void, pure intent,
nonchalant about outcomes,
placing trust on Gods will,
knowing that His love
beyond measure
will set us,
in time,
free.

judgmental eye measures
whilst sigh of heart treasures

scattered thoughts resurrect
in dreams fear fraught dissect

when head melds with our heart
then our true life does start

[Unseeking Seeker]

Search
for truth,
joy suffused,
as an aspect
of our aliveness,
aglow in permanence,
is indeed a worthy goal,
raising vibrations of our soul,
ingraining within us, higher wisdom,
by melding with the divine love current.

Then thus, our lower mind must disappear,
making room within for love to grow,
transmuting our mind-body form,
in alignment with Gods will,
that our true life purpose
may begin, here now,
to shine forth light
as God wills,
here on
earth.

[Unseeking Seeker]

Bhishma Pitamah, warrior fierce and monk exalted
An ascended ascetic, whose life could not be faulted
Granted by Gods, boon of immortality, of death by wish
Yet so deep became his anguish, life he chose to relinquish
How all this came to pass is depicted in the epic, Mahabharata
Suffice to say, he could not bear to see his soul defiled by stigma
Thereby voluntarily choosing to suffer upon a bed of arrows to atone
Karmic consequences of injustice by ego identity sown, he alone did own

Quest for immortality, in effect a seeking of our ego identity to unify with soul
Encased in this mind-body, feeling limited and bound, we wish to be whole
Thus we yearn for life eternal, bliss ineffable and wisdom unimaginable
We already are that who we so seek, ego veiling cognition spherical
Deluded that we are this organic fleeting form, fear spirals arise
Imaginary identity hypnotises soul, resisting joy and surprise
Oh weary pilgrim, know we are immortal but this body not
Divine aligned, bliss suffused, exit narrow thought slots

Shrouded by fears and desires, ego flounders hither and thither
Whilst soul luminous has no questions, itself being the answer

[Unseeking Seeker]

When
our heart
sets a goal,
mind so aligns
to fulfil the quest,
hoping for fulfilment.
For desires ego driven,
goalposts shift and horizons fade,
life whizzes by and death knocks our door,
whereupon heart seeks an action replay.

We thus take birth on earth, time and again,
until heart is calmed in staid silence,
knowing soul is not mind-body,
thus bending in surrender
to divine will alone,
letting go of fear,
in childlike trust,
whereupon
our heart
glows.

Life
within
mind-body,
being the all
as our aliveness,
our spiritual search
must necessarily start
by cognising movement of life
imbibing and releasing each pulse,
choosing expansion of our consciousness.

Our body has needs but so does our soul,
with the former enmeshed in the world
and the latter, God’s love and light,
for which, if we would connect,
we dwell in deep silence
resting thought spirals
through surrender,
whereupon
our heart
glows.
