Ruby Zoisite tumble stones.
Yesterday I bought two rather nice tumble stones, I will post a picture of these as soon as I can. Each one cost me £6.00 each, but the one thing I like the most about them is that their very polished, not too big and fit in the palm of my hand quite nicely. I bought them in this fairly upmarket little shop in my town. I was tempted in buying just one stone but I also felt that I needed both of them, as they were on display in a small decorative bowl with some other different stones. So, does anyone here own any Ruby Zoisite? I've read up on the internet about this website yesterday but not enough to form an opinion on them. Unfortunately, the smaller one of the tumble stones has some adhesive stuck on it where the price tag was displayed, maybe I should soak it in a some salt water to help remove it.

Glue from price tag can usually be removed by rubbing it off with thumb or teatowel. Salt water is not recommended for crystals, plus I doubt soaking in water will help.
I always manage to get it off the way I described.
I have ruby, ruby in dark moonstone too, but not in zoisite. Shouldn't be that hard though to get info online as the combo is quite the usual one.

Thanks Fairycrystal. Ok, I won't use salt water, I'm sure the adhesive will wear off once I start twiddling the tumble stones in my palm. I have read that Ruby is an ideal stone for combating fatigue, do think the same though? I actually have a gemstone pyramid Ruby-in-Matrix pyramid in my car which I think helps me stay alert. What are your thoughts?

For me the ruby is/was wonderful as it works both on the lower chakras, esp. Sacral, AND the heart. It helps connect head & heart, works on passion, grounding, Sacral chakra issues, and so on.
But I love that it also works on the heart, gives strength/power, helps self-esteem issues, enables one to let go of things including heartache etc.
It can be too much for hyperactive people, this is the same with garnet although I feel this can much easier be the case with garnet.
I personally find ruby way gentler.
I'm not hyperactive or anything, but even I don't like to have my almandine garnet on me all the time whereas the ruby is absolutely wonderful!
I bought it when I needed something to work on my Sacral chakra. I wasn't exactly sure what but I knew I needed something there to break through stuck issues. I've had a variety of crystals for that over the years, ruby was a very important one of those.
I think especially because of its connection to the heart and love issues as these are also connected to the Sacral. (Sacral - Heart connection).
I haven't carried it with me for quite some time now, but it's a stone I am very very fond of and one that will never ever leave!

It does seem from the photos that there is also some blue in it?

Yeah I'll agree with you on that, the stones do have some blue in them but then, that doesn't make them anything else but what they are, or do you think these could be Chrysocolla?

I was thinking Kyanite because Ruby does appear with Kyanite at times. It's a powerful combination.
