That is really good Miss Hepburn. That would not be easy doing what you did but you did it. The more we think and talk about things that make us angry, the angrier we can get. The anger can stay with us for years if we allow it to happen. The same thing can happen if you are worried or sad about something. These emotions are normal but it can go on for too long. When we are free of the bad thoughts we start to feel a lot better.

That is great RedEmbers that meditation has helped you a lot and your blood pressure has come down. That is a great achievement. There is more to go and you will get there.

I hadn't even noticed that they were reflections haha.

I do like the look of the light bouncing off the water


I have started to do something similar to what you mention in regards to anxiety and worry and trying to "fix the past". I just say it's enough now and give my brain a different job.

I'm not sure If this is healthy or not but there are some stories which I am denying my mind now. It reminds me of eternal sunshine of the spotless mind except I am choosing to not repeat the past, so I keep the imprint and forget the memories.

Thanks. I figure that if it is having direct health benefits then it is probably also helping in other ways.

Anger can be a pit of despair but allowing our self’s to feel it- I know through reincarnation I became angry, bitter lost concentration on meditation states but allowing my self to wander felt my self meditating {like a child in a harness over the shoulders, at the front} I was mothering/ fathering my self into meditation states~ that was easier to cope with and often I’d fall under the spell of them..

I am sorry you feel this way~ it must be hard- but allowing your self to feel that way and surrendering will slow you to deal with it and fall into a meditation state easier ~ if you let your self with full acceptance…

Reincarnation is the hardest thing for me** I think I’m trying to realise that pain is a good thing and my coping methods to withstand it and deal with the grief it causes{bitter,angry,resentment}

Acknowledging it is best and allowing it to float away
