We are always awake, Michael, but as incarnates we will always be constrained to a lesser or greater degree by the very physical systems we came here to experience.

Most of us - perhaps virtually all of us - will remain unable to "see through" to anything beyond this dimension. Becoming a little aware of what's there might be the best we can reasonably hope to achieve.

It's arguable whether we should even try too hard because life is for living and in general it's not intended we should know much beyond the little we do. I'm comfortable with that.

Thanks boyce for your input here, In my forty nine years of meditation and out
of body visitations, I have seen much to wonder and have felt the grace and embrace of Absolute intelligence. "WE" are all ABSOLUTE BEING undergoing
a relative embodied experience.
