The Satipatthna Sutra is one that I have recommended often culminating in the jhanas and the supra-mundane jhanas.
One of my favorite meditations for years has been the Tibetan Buddhist practice of conscious sleep (also practiced by Sufis and yogis) during which one remains mindfully aware of the three states of man (deep sleep, dream formation, the so-called "waking" state) and the transitions between the three states as well as that which lies beyond them. Know Yourself. As above, so below.
The pranayama and pratyahara limbs in Pantajali's yoga sutras are also an excellent preliminary to dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi.
I am also a big advocate of MEANINGFUL Mantra meditation to reduce one's thoughts to one and, from there, to the thought-free stillness.
There are so many meditation practices that vary by the disposition of the practitioner. I wrote the introduction to my spiritual mentor's book on "Techniques of Meditation" and see value in the various approaches. One shoe does not fit all.

Almost every mantra has Om they are tuning forks to enlightenment.
Now a days the world is out of control, we need a tuning fork.

I'm not very knowledgeable about Mantras but as I said previously, if someone finds them useful and they are benificial, use them
I personally don't think the world is out of control but some inhabitants definitely are..

Does she or anyone gets it? Dukkha is our way of life just as the sea is to the fish. We swim in it. We would be lost without it, and gasping for air like fish out of water.

So which meditation technique if you will, do you prefer to do away with Dukkha so you don't have to gasp for air like a fish out of water? As that is the purpose of meditation in this corner of the spiritual forum.

Living Mindfully is easy on the Memory not much to forget from each moment.

Some Buddhists would argue that memory is the sole purpose of being mindful.
I.e. keeping something in mind.
