how to prevent burnout?

Hey,

I need ideas. I am growing as a person diehard. Am entirely focused on my goals as a person. Life seems to demand this. However my body is slowly saying no. Years back I hit depression/burnout every few months. I dont want a burnout again. But Im hanging on a tight rope. I am finally, for the first time for my soul te experience, having a job. I really strongly desire to show my best side. Its an unpaid job, but it means the world to me right now...

Congratulations on having a job. Even if it is unpaid it can give your life structure and routine, as well as the benefits of social interaction. And who knows what it might lead to.

Regarding burnout, try to find a balance. When you are at work then do your best, show your best side, without pushing yourself to extremes. When you are not at work then let it go and do whatever helps you to relax.

It is good to be focused on your goals, but at the same time be gentle with yourself. If we push ourselves too hard for too long then at some point the body will say no. It will force us to stop and rest.

Maybe you are the type of person who swings between relentless activity and complete inertia. This is not balanced. Try to find a steady rhythm in your life - this is the middle way.

Peace

Don't people burnout when they do too much?
Take it slower, easier...enjoy yourself more, I say.

Life can be similar to a vacation, it's all in the attitude.
"This is so hard" to "I can do this, it'll be easy." And smile more!
...When you first wake up it changes everything!

"Smile and the world smiles with you."

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
