Thank you Honza!
I too don't know God.
My mind is as the glass, knowledge about God is as the sea. I can never hold the sea in a glass, but I can hold something.
I wish to know that "something" the majority of the jews hold.

Happy with you krishna,
God is the Light indeed
Allâh is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allâh guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allâh sets forth parables for mankind, and Allâh is All-Knower of everything. (35) [Quran:Ch.24]
God is the Truth, too.
That is because Allâh is the Truth, and He gives life to the dead, and He is Able to do all things. (6) [Ch22]
God is the Wise. (Note: I don't know a verse where God says that He is the wisdome. In the Quran it is always He is the Wise who bestow wisdom. I don't know why)

G-d is, in the end, unknowable. Language is inadequate to describe G-d in any real way and so all language about G-d is figurative.
Suffice it to say that G-d is the Eternal One, the Source of All Being.
B'shalom,
Peter

That is a very wise answer.
I'll go along with that.

Thanks Peter,
Another question, if you allow me:
What Judaism say about the person who claim himself as God?
BTW, why do you say G-d? honestly
Why not say Elohim, or Eal?
