Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I think you all have nothing but good intent. Thoughts are what get us all stirred up. So stop thinking, just be, and it will all be OK.

I was thinking the other day and it made me laugh because I realized that I did not belong to my thoughts, It was just the way we navigate the mind.
Prayer can be without thought, Contemplative prayer, or with thoughts, vocal prayer.
If a Buddhist meditates is it a prayer? But then I was once instructed by a Buddhist master that you can't stop thinking, just be aware of what passes across the screen of your mind's eye. Is that true? And then all enlightened Buddhists say that love is everything too, why is it that when we get to that very quiet place Love awakens. Maybe I should become a Buddhist too.

The Great Spirit prayer, Full of divine wisdom.
Why must the Bible remove one from seeing the sacred in Nature, in all things? Too much focus on Heaven? Praying for the earth is a good thing. The Celtic Church is very interesting, it moves more in this direction, as did St Francis of Assis.

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

This traditional Irish blessing is an ancient Celtic prayer.

Most people never see the insides of a prayer wheel. Generally it happens when somebody turns the wheel upside down which generally causes the prayer wheel to come apart exposing the rolled up printed paper. I suspect, a lot of prayer wheels end up in a drawer hoping some day that time will become available to spend fixing the prayer wheel.

If you go to Bhutan, you can see some gigantic prayer wheels.

Anyway, I am pleased this was moved here, in Christianity people seem to lose sight of what it is. It should stand on its own ground, as confusing as it can be. Here anything goes, which is OK too.
