Psychometry

My interest in psychometry has been piqued by my own repeated and diligent use of malas (Buddhist rosaries) in my meditation practices and the idea of imparting spiritual energy into objects.

I am interested to find out if anyone here has experience with this discipline and am interested to hear any accounts people may have to share with an especial regard to the energy fields of religious artifacts.

I have some small degree of talent with psychometry...I believe that objects can certainly hold on to energy, which is what we pick up when we touch or hold those objects.
Some things seem to hold and/or transmit that energy more than others...I find that natural things (stone, crystals, wood, etc.) seem easier to "read" than man-made products - at least for myself, personally. Though I'm sure the more you practise, the easier it gets

Yes, I've worked with objects made and prayed over by Buddhist nuns and monks, they definitely have a different feel than equivalent items that were not.

Are you practicing this with only religious artifacts?

I've had success with this personally, but I have yet to venture down the religious avenue in the area of energy transfer.

I think when we choose to create this energy transfer we limit ourselves when we keep down the path of combining energy transfer with religion. Energy is Energy and to transfer is a gift, shall we really keep this gift within the realm of a religion that may or may not currently exist or even acknowledge the realities of what we do when we practice our gifts?

i charged a mala with peace. then i put it on a maple tree and left it there. that year all the maples in the county got infected with a fungus that ate the leaves fight off the trees. the maple tree i put the mala on and the two beside it did not contract the fungus, but all the ones around them did. i placed the mala there because the man who i was with did not like it and badgered me to get rid of it. i thought a tree would be a good place for it. i had no idea that the trees would get this fungus that year and did find it beautiful that the tree and two surrounding ones did not get it. this is how i learned of what you ask.

My experiences with psychometry were far and few. I can remember holding a stuffed animal or even wearing clothing that used to belong to my grandmother when she was alive. That was how I felt her energy. I also have a massive blanket I crocheted that someone significant has touched and because of that, I felt a bit more secure sleeping with it. I clearly have the capability for this ability too so I'm going to work on honing that even more.

I can't say I have any experience with religious items, though.

I have friends who can do it with objects. I can have particular experiences with crystals, then hand them the crystal and they can explain the essence of what my experience with it was.
Of my self I'm often able to pick up energy vibs of areas, down to having visions of what caused it to be negative energy such as murders, animals killed on highways, abuses, mass trauma etc. A little research into news archives usually pin-points the date and reported incident I picked up on.
