Rituals are how we condition ourselves and how we are conditioned determines what
happens to us after the death of the human body. “If my heart weighs more than a
feather then I carry to much weight.”
Too much weight may impede soul travel to the greater levels. We condition ourselves
with what we say, think, and do, or thoughts, words, and deeds. That is why spiritual
surrender, or letting go especially inside, is so important.
Rituals are all around us and people assign all sorts of meaning to them. Muslims believe
the body should be buried right away, some religions only believe in cremation, etc.
Funerals are for the living not the dead, they allow the living to grieve and practice their
faith in regards to the afterlife.
Rituals hold and important place in this physical creation. Electrons whirl around a nucleus,
the moon whirls around the earth, the earth with its sister planets follow a set pattern
traveling about the sun, and the entire universe moves in and orderly ritualistic progression.
The entire universe is a cosmic dance of life, a ritual keeping contact with all of its parts
through the ceremony of ritualistic motion. Even the expression of love is dependant on
the ritual of courting or dating, showing signs of affection, etc. We all participate in rituals,
in social gatherings, organizations, holidays, anniversaries, etc., are done according to a
particular culture. Rituals are performed as a bridge in and attempt to join things together.
