Is nature really the only true god...

Do you believe all things are equal...that the man is just as valid as sloths and slugs? Do you believe we are all one, from the same mother cell?
Is this considered pantheism or atheism? I feel everything is humming with the same energy and we are related to everything.
What would this be called and were could I find like minded people and reading on the subject?

Hummmm, I don't mean to disrespect others beliefs, I hope it didn't come off that way. I think all beliefs are valid.
(Could someone tell me what that blue check is as far as rateing)
I'm so sorry if I disrespected others by saying nature is the only true god. I think I worded it wrongly. I was just looking for others that might have the same view as myself.
I think there is a life force flowing thru all of us (and all living beings)...I'm hesitant to call it a god. It seems more personal, not a outside force that can be appeased with prayers and such...
Gosh...I've got a feeling I'm digging myself deeper...sorry.
I just feel so along in my thinking and was wondering if anyone felt the same way. I'm having a hard time wording this correctly...

No,you didn't word it wrongly,in fact what you say,at least in my view,is so true, that i for one wanted to reply, but couldn't find the words.Maybe this-there's an ancient latin proverb which say:all things in Nature are full of gods.

This place is space with moving particles, therefore energy. But all the particles can be pressed into a microscopic sized dot, so there is not really much of it.
We make it what it is through bending and pressing the energy into different combinations. God keeps the burner warm. My opinion.

Nature is one aspect of God, or at least of God's creation (depending on your particular view of it). We are as much a part of nature as the rest of creation, and those parts of our aspect that are of the physical/created/manifest/3d world (again, depending on your choice of words) are equal on that level.

The aspects of our being outside the manifest will however will be judged on their own terms with their own values.

the arrogance of this species is mind boggling!
if this beautiful planet could choose to evict one species it would be us!
a beautiful planet would then become Paradise!
we, as a species are edging closer to extinction, and fracking is just one example of how we operate! in the UK the government have said that the companies can use whatever they like when they get fracking! meanwhile Germany has banned fracking!

I am of the opinion, and this is changeable, that we are all connected; but we are not all one; for if we were all one then we'd be looking for number two!

We are simply Life Unfolding.

And, in my opinion, we are not a superior species and don't lord it over the apparent lowly worm or slug.

One species is guilty of a selfish and destructive drive to oblivion. One. Us.

Even those of this species who do good deeds are guilty (me included) of allowing the disconnected self serving politicians and bankers to do as they wish.

People camp out for the latest i phone - but would they do so in order to help a fellow Earth traveler?!?! Answers on the back of a band aid!

Whatever is behind(beyond even) this physical level is also behind(beyond) what is referred to as the spirit world. An Intelligence way beyond our comprehension! And then we insult this Mysterious Intelligence by assigning it a gender - well many do! But, we are all, every living creature, a part of that Mysterious Intelligence; including trees, blades of grass and the lowly worms and slugs.

We are all Life Unfolding, and we complicate Life by creating belief systems! We then argue and fall out over whether we need saving by some messiah! No one needs saving! Just because it is written in a book, the Bible, and certain folk claim it to be the word of God, doesn't make it so.

Maybe in years to come folk will believe Harry Potter was a real flesh and blood person!

Just because it is written in a book does not make it true.

We are all unique and wonderful mysterious beings who still have no clue from where we came!!! Yes we have plenty of theories and myths, but no conclusive proof!

Fun though it is to discuss such things, never take it too seriously!

Ah...a bill hicks fan! Do you know Tim Minchin? Very funny too.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts.I'm afraid you might be right EJ, it's a bleak outlook but sadly I think your right.
Yolxo...I like that proverb I think Albert Einstein said something similar when asked if he believed in god.
Kevin, I liked the way you put it too.
Thank you for your thoughts Rawn.
I think we live in a wondrous natural world.
I always wonder why the first people needed to find outside beliefs, to invent religion. Maybe the grief of a death was easier to handle with the promise of seeing them again. I almost wish I could believe some of those things.
I do believe this planet is humming with energy. It runs thru every living thing and it's really amazing.
Thanks for your thoughts guys..

Hi Blue Wolf,
You are a very lucky person if you sense something that is within everything.
Nothing exists ...not red, not air, not thought, not wood without this Thing you sense within and without.
Yup, pretty lucky.

Hiya Blue wolf

Don't worry about the blue tick. That isn't to do with anyone rating your thread. It just means that you have contributed to that thread. I also have a blue tick because I've just posted something.
