There’s a great YouTube video by Eckhart Tolle on free will, where long story short, he says we do not have free will because we are not conscious * (*of our true nature) so why then karma if we are not responsible? Here he goes on to say that for us to become aware of our unconsciousness, to know the consequences of our ignorance, karma comes into play, otherwise we will never wake up.

A child may learn from bad choices, like touching a hot stove, but we expect for adults to know better. So choices in many ways are based on our experience and what we have learned from the past, or seen what others have gone through. Whether we make a right choice or wrong choice there is something to learn from our choices.

Lots of people make decisions one way or another because they feel they have no choice or other options. Its like the decision is being made for them. People who take their own life usually feel that is their best choice or only choice. But in my opinion there are always options.

“All paths eventually lead to the same outcome; some go through the bush, some go around the bush, some go under or over the bush.” But they will all eventually have the same outcome. Things we have to make decisions about come to us for a reason; whether or not we consider them right or wrong, in my opinion decisions, no matter how easy or hard, are there to help us grow.

Hi Starman glad to see you back because I’ve been wanting to ask you a question.

I posted a thread sometime ago but you were not active on the forum at the time so i thought I would catch you on this one.

I’ve been reading a lot about the world being a simulation and I was wondering what your thoughts are about this topic.
