The astral plane is right next to you … all around you … but you cannot see it … because you have not learned how to “see” the higher rate of vibration or higher frequency. As is the causal / mental / etc … all kept “invisible” because of frequency. They are all right around you … you are in the middle of it. You are focused elsewhere … according to your understanding and abilities.

You cannot “see” the wind itself but you can see the effects it has. You cannot “see” thoughts … but they are everywhere.

Even reading all of these words … and anything I might put in in the future … this is just data. Technique / application / methodology … living the higher truths … that’s what it is all about. You live from your choices … whether you remember specifically making those choices or not. You live from your state of consciousness.

To take the data and then apply it … and live from it.

And often … when you begin to want to take the time to do inner work … outer life will collapse in on you because “it” wants to keep you here. Issues and problems will come out of nowhere to keep you focused on these situations with the same habits / patterns you’ve been using for a long, long time.

This is when we truly begin to learn strength / courage / risk / persistence / stamina / patience / etc. It is the job of the Lower Psychic World forces to keep you here. Again … how else would you learn greater degrees of the above … and more.

It’s almost sci-fi … where invisible monsters come to attack. In a sense … yes … but these Negative Forces know the issues that cause you struggles from past lives … and they use them again … to complicate each of us being our own worst enemy … holding too the old patterns and not revising out of them … or more technically … revising our reactions to them … dealing with them on a new, more elevated approach or level … and continuing on.

These issues do not have to be “life-threatening” … only important enough to coerce you to deal with them. They can be very small … but they will demand attention.

“Fake it till you make it” … yes. It carries the concept. But as a bit wider understanding of the entire principle … notice the use of the word … “fake.” This allows mind to continue to believe that these new ideals / goals … are … fake. Not real. Mind tends to then believe … why bother?

Perhaps a better word to use would be … Pretend until you make it … or better yet … Believe until you make it. I know they don’t rhyme … but … you can see the emphasis being promoted in a more positive manner.

Try it.

The body or the mind does not really have the ability to perceive external objects. They are mechanical. Our senses are mechanical. You can stare at the ceiling and just perceive it … and think nothing about it … so you are just “seeing” it through mechanical means. It is the conscious self that is doing this … using the senses to observe. The conscious self illuminates the organic functions … the perceptions of the body. The conscious self just … physically senses. The intelligent self discerns. This is the source of consciousness and knowledge. This discerns / discriminates / analyzes / etc. The intelligent self determine what to do with what you sense or see.

This is when you begin to draw distinctions … and discriminations … and make advancements by determine what is beneficial or not.

All around you as this center are innumerable states of consciousness … and you draw to yourself the one you are living at the moment because of your habits / patterns / thoughts / emotions / ethics / beliefs / etc.

"Fake it till you make it" is a catch phrase used for newly sober people that are fresh off addiction and or alcoholism.
The rhyming phrase is something that might stick with them.
"Fake it 'til you make it" (also called "act as if") is a common catchphrase. The purpose is to avoid getting caught in a self-fulfilling prophecy related to someone's fear of not being confident.
It's sometimes recommended for a therapy technique for combating depression. The idea is to go
through the routines of life as if one were enjoying them, despite the fact that initially it feels forced, and continue doing this
until the happiness becomes real. This is an example of a positive feedback loop.

Alright here is one with a positive spin."Pretend it till you mend it"LOL

I realize that the “fake it” statement is a handy rhyming phrase. If you must rhyme the phrase that you use … and it’s handy sometimes … you’re on the right track. Bottom line … you must convince mind to over-ride old patterns and plug in the new … so you must *believe* it to live it … that sort of thing … which often takes time, effort, and practice.

You visit the astral plane nightly. That is the plane of most dreams … for anyone and everyone … whether they remember them … or are aware of them … or not. Those on the astral can be as intelligent as anyone anywhere … and have one less “burden” to contend with … and that’s the physical body … so there is a sense of “lightness” or “freedom” while dealing with the astral plane … but the emotions are *much* stronger there … and one can get carried away with those … or totally immersed in them … maybe that’s the better way to phrase it. Fear is stronger … joy is higher … etc.

There are universities and schools and temples and places to study and learn that make those on Earth seem pale by comparison. “As above so below” applies here … as everything found on Earth got its “start” or “birth” on the astral. This is also why everything seems so colorful there … the colors are not “watered down” or “darkened” as they are when drawn down into the physical.

To carry this a bit further … if you believe there is “intelligence” here in the physical … and “as above so below” holds true … then you can draw your own assumptions.

Animals / birds / etc are “just aware” … although on the “instinctive” level. They have yet to develop the capacity to put thoughts together and recognize relationships between concepts and such … although they can certainly be well trained to recognize simple habitual patterns.

If something has a brain … then they’re working on being more and more aware … from instinctive to incredibly simple to more and more complex.

Don’t believe I’ve ever met a thinking rock … or had conversations with water or clouds or trees … but even these forms of life have their instinctive impressions and one can sense or feel the driving energies that form and maintain them.

Mind likes knowledge / data … which we consider and accept as knowledge. Soul likes Truth … which It can only discover in Its own world … the true home of Soul.

Soul likes truth over knowledge because It do not need knowledge to exist or to know what It can gain from Divine Spirit upon request or when It needs it. Mind is not that way … mind needs to have memorized information or data … which is reflected information. Soul does not have to do that but It does have to rely upon these very tools when in the Lower Psychic Worlds once It has attained entry into Sat Lok … the 5th Plane. As It gains experience in the Pure God Worlds and develops both sets of tools …It can live within the Lower Psychic Worlds while keeping Its attention focused in the Pure God Worlds.

Soul is the focal point of both levels of Spirit … Divine Spirit or Spirit. Therefore … all designs from the inside out.
