Hey tealily: No, Anzac's not a pitbull mix. He's police German Shepherd stock. Tony bought him last year when he was sick to keep me company, give me something to focus on (he knows I'm a sucker for animals and it would be a good distraction for me, given my downtrollen moods after he died), plus of course, protection for when Tony shuffled off this mortal plane.
He went to a couple of supposedly top notch trainers, both whom traumatised him, which is made his aggressive worse.

Trying to make a quick "get away" will undoubtedly upset some people, but the rewards will far outweigh the negative attitude from others, which will be short-lived anyway.

It sounds like there may be a few offers landing on the table... although whether they are better than my current job is yet to be decided (increased workload Vs better crew).

My clair- might be off, but I got the impression of an aunt or uncle who was very encouraging and always told you to go off and try things. They may have passed on.

Yes, I think you may be right. Sorting through and finding a lot of old things that brings back some very happy memories, which in turn makes me very unhappy with the realisation that they are never to be again.
