This may get a bit wordy … but here goes …

“Dreams” are complicated by the varied uses of the word. Keeping it simple … dreams at night are Soul’s journeys into the other planes / worlds / dimensions. Soul … being non-physical … has absolutely no requirement to lay Itself down for rest at night … and so … leaves the body and journeys into the other realms … probably 90% of them being onto some level or sub-level of the astral … where most every Soul has spent a LOT of time during It’s physical incarnations. These levels of the astral are *so* varied … so massive … that we can journey here forever … if that’s our preference.

We can often “direct” our dreams by “dreaming” of them … or remembering them in detail … “reliving” them as we sit or lie quietly … and draw us right back into the astral at that level. Memory certainly plays a part here … but your “dreaming inner vision” often directs Soul Itself to where It will journey. In a sense … daydreaming. That can play a vital part in a lot of what we learn and where we journey … staying incredibly generic here. The whole night “dream” scenario is vast. Lots of levels and development of abilities.

However … I often allude to “revision” work or “design” work or “goal” work … and this too … is a level of dreaming … as we close our eyes and imagine / in-vision / envision / in-teract / in-volve / etc ourselves with the entire facet of vision … how we use vision … what can it develop for us and how can we use / learn from it … as well as “design” with it.

This … is vital. In this sense … this is exactly what you are doing when you do this whole revision / etc work … in that you are dreaming yourself into your future reality by en-visioning it *now* … and waiting for other facets to catch up and manifest it / bring it into your lifestyle.

So … and here’s a kicker … since this latter level of dreaming is actually what brings about most any development … and this level of dreaming brings about the outer scenarios that we all live with … the “illusion” part of this level of dreaming was drawn up to portray that the outer life is indeed an illusion brought about by the inner dream use. It’s a spin-off of the chicken / egg gambit … but in this case … the inner vision comes first … manifesting into outer life … carried out through all the dimensions / planes of all Lower Psychic Worlds. It is correct to claim that the outer life is “illusion” … for this reason. We have been taught on SO many levels that the outer life comes first … it is “real” … and that the inner life is just … folly / imagination / pretending. Since the outer life is SO commanding here … this misleading teachings … works.

So you can now see … in the end … all you put in your post above is true … the dream *does* work … there is *learning* to be discovered and used … the dream is more “real” then the outer life that it creates because it *is* the determinant … etc.

And as far as dreams are concerned on *any* level … people stay within their preferred and learned levels of dreaming … both in where they nightly journey … and in how they use “revisionary” dreaming to design their life. Most dismiss this entire latter practice. Affirmations tie into all of this … that’s a “level” of dreaming … focusing here or there … trying to “draw” yourself into a differing reality … in the end … an outer reality.

Soul Itself can be “multi-present” if that has been learned. Consciousness is the giant sea of existence … and Soul Itself is an individualized focused awareness entity … dreaming Itself along whether It knows it or not … getting caught up in misdirections right from the start and spending eons getting out of them and into more misdirections … all designed to make Soul Itself learn … eventually … that It has total control over what It dreams … then what It develops inwardly and outwardly … then what It experiences … and eventually … how it serves Life … and God.

If you followed all of that … any of you … you have a fabulous grasp on what it’s all about … whether you know it or not.

Now it all depends on what you’re going to do with it.

Isn’t that always the question?
