Detachment, yes. There was a good thread about that, which got lopped off, along with a whole lot else both good and not so good. But I see you're back, having chosen to re-up.
Oh, so many smart people on this thread, I must say! It is a joy for the forum to be back, imho.

I'd rather have a trim than have my whole head severed. There are plenty of oldies that were worth rescuing and there is much to look forward to, as always.
It's important to 'lose' weight' but not indiscriminately. (For forums or people)
Whether we get back any of what we lost, it will quickly grow to the proportions it once was.
Have you ever seen a tree that was 'topped'? not a pretty sight. If it is sensitively and artistically pruned, it will be so beautiful. |

I think I cut and pasted that first post on the thread and saved it onto my computer - I will have a look later and if so I'll start the thread again. |

I see that you posted it ~ am so glad, it seemed to be so helpful for so many and me too, I had read about it at some point or two over the years, but when I rediscovered that particular article, I was finally READY to hear what it was saying. Thanks ~ |

No problem - I'm pleased it has helped you to see it again. I haven't actually read it all through yet but I'm relieved I saved it because like you said I have to be ready to hear its message. I think I've nearly reached that point! |
