The Doorway that leads to Wisdom.

What i have discovered in the last 47 years of daily meditations is that firstly that there is nothing to learn whatsoever in meditation, rather it is a process of uncovering what is already there in the first place, It is like having a black mirror within you which basically represents our ignorance, and daily meditations begin the process of polishing this dark inner mirror which then
has the rippling effect of gradually revealing the real you that was unknown and clouded over by our dark inner mirror, so rather that learning anything, we instead uncover and gradually reveal the real soul that lives within us all. I have learnt nothing in 47 years of meditation zero learning, but much uncovering and revealing more each day as the mirror was polished. We cannot learn wisdom because we discover we are indeed the very embodiment of wisdom when the dark mirror is more clearly polished.

warmest regards michael.

It's very nice observation on correlation of wisdom and meditation . 47 years if pretty long time and must appreciate your perseverance . Of course there are many on this board with such along experience . All such long continuous experiences are worth applauding .

As Swami Vivekananda was fond of saying, spiritual practice is like polishing a mirror. A clean and polished mirror reflects images better than a dirty one, and if one thinks what we perceive as being conscious is a reflection in mind of Source, well...

The doorway that leads to universal wisdom and knowledge lies within the space-less space of profound inner silence, when all is still, the door swings open.

And I second that as true.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Wisdom seems to equate with silence, the deeper you can enter into the silence the deeper the wisdom will percolate into your inner awareness and consciousness. This has been my experience over many years of meditating,
Wisdom just "PRESENTS" itself to you, it is a magnetic attraction that the silence summons wisdom out of the void and into your awareness.
