Beginning with perception
Of seeming separation
We infuse empathy to feel
With full uninhibited appeal
Including each nuance subtle
Through dispassion spherical
The pulse of joy & pain
The wax & wane
In each & every other being
By resonance so feeling

This practice not mindfulness
Or pretended kindness
But rather singularity of awareness
Unifying with Absolute consciousness

Sitting comfortably
Attentively
Without thought
Mind-body begot
As of our will
We are still

As soon as an urges begins to arise
We let it awaken but block its rise
In suspended animation
This being our meditation

For an unending duration

To have some fun
All past knowing undone
We employ synthesis
Of devotion & self-hypnosis

Shiva having absolute freedom
Ruler of the Universe as His kingdom
Omnipresent, omniscient & omnipotent
Full of love & light blissfully radiant

We assimilate this as our devotion
Then shift by auto-suggestion
Having merged with Shiva we are one
All powers of the Father are ours as His son

We thus remain within this wave of awareness
Tranquil & blissful & one with the That Oneness

Wave & ocean one as are flame & fire
We are both the void and bodily desire
Recognising unity between void & manifestation
Unfettered & unbound we flow in blissful elation

Ceasing mind-body identification
Ends all limitation
We are both the transmitter
As also the receptor

Presence within form the meditator
A divine entwined co-creator

Upon getting to physical or mental exhaustion
Put this practice to test
Wherever we may be, we enter into meditation
There and then rest

It looks simple but are we as such spontaneous
Is our devotion both unwavering and courageous

Employing limitation to exit limitation
Is the practice of this meditation

We wish to know something but the truth is evasive
The knowing elusive yet our search all pervasive

We go into the awareness of searching
Rather than limited ideas precipitating

That awareness which actuates the search quest
In that void of silence & stillness we rest

A deep truth about to be told
Let us mark this one in bold!

We open our eyes but see nothing
For our focus is in space unwavering
The senses rely upon reflection
We seek no echo in this meditation

We may if we wish rotate polarity
Focusing on space & object in cyclic continuity
Until we stabilise our attention
To rest in the void of cessation

In an unending continuation

A physical but powerful technique
For those who instant connection seek

Employing muscular contraction we close our rectum
Simultaneously with fingers our ear drums

The contraction and release should be synchronous
With the flow of easy breath continuous

In parallel we recite the mantra ‘mmm’ of ॐ
Prayerful & soundless within the Anahata dome

Standing atop an old village well look down into the dark void
Melt therein form vaporised and in the bliss mist be overjoyed

Don’t fall into the well, however!

We being in a bind
Of limited identity-mind
We do not negate
Rather we cooperate!

We make no fuss
We go where thoughts take us
In the external
As well as in the internal
In the ethereal
Or the feral
No self criticism
We oscillate with the pendulum

There is however one condition
In following the ego suggestion
We see Shiva in each vibration
In all nuances of fullness or cessation

If Shiva be everywhere, where may ego reside
For a Shiva is both outside as well as inside
Ego has no place to hide

So ceasing to measure & size
It does noiselessly vaporise
