Expertise was a poor choice on my part.
I would have been more precise writing passionate knowledge instead of expertise to express my thinking.

Now the following vid. caught me interest but soon rolled me eyes into the back of my head.
@10:26 mins. caught my eye and I could pause and study it for a bit.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enFqiJ08bdo

It did cross my mind while viewing this map that there is a possibility that since I know none of my Mother's ancestry
that we as in you and I could share some of those haplogroups. That struck me as funny, in a good way.

Then we have this haplogroup map that has r1b in Eastern North America and Western Europe.
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/F...aplogroups.png

I'll stop there as to not roll my eyes back so far in my head as to not be able to retrieve them.

The closest we have or had to Megalithic Culture is this – from our Pre-Saami era.
Though now the land is owned by Russians:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th9NMXHyPVw

Sacred sites, and I think there are 2 more of them going up North.
So, of course people now use the area for mountain biking, races …
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-Lxhiz1ivc

But how lovely - (in the first video) somebody had put blue & white ribbons with bells on - on one of the tree branches.

And by the look of things they just turned the place into a “Nimbin fest”.
They all do the same kind of dance with their fire torches when – 'playing ancients’.
And of course if there is water – stripping is compulsory as is meditation Zen posture.

That thought had crossed my mind also.

If you've seen one, you've seen them all.
I did not know the dance ‘Ferals’ do in festivals and/or events has a name: “Tribal Fusion”

- Where every culture can be appropriated and turned into something else.
It all feels so inappropriate ....

I enjoyed the journey to the Rock gardens in the first vid.
Those are my kind of roads.
I have never been that far North though, it must have a feel all it's own.

Those seidr/sieidi/seita stones can have a strongly felt presence.
https://www.vastavalo.net/albums/use...rmal_seita.jpg

When yous go to hunt and gather … yous offer tobacco.
We brought a portion of the big game hunt as an offering to the seidr stone as that stone presence like covers/’governs’ a large hunting area. So, it was felt like “The Spirit of a Place”:

Other than that a “Table of Tapio” (a spruce that only grows horizontally) was used to give offerings to the “Master of the Forest”:

Sacred trees would get ribbons and other gifts … (or in some cases the ‘pet’ snake at its roots would be fed).
