Considerations Eighty-Six …

Consciousness is one … not “all of us as One.”

- - O-0-O-O-0-o - -

Consciousness is the feature of unity … the “we are all One” factor that is so often declared. Consciousness is the “Intelligence” feature of Divine Spirit … that which is spawned in the Pure God Worlds from the Fountainhead. Consciousness is one (what is often called unity) but it manifests into millions of forms and countless levels. There is *no* separation of consciousness because the whole cannot be divided into parts. The levels are just that … we understand differing levels or depths of IT.

It is a massive, broad sweeping flow that is again “foundational” in the Pure God Worlds and is “specialized” in the Lower Psychic Worlds. As any contractor in the Lower Psychic Worlds will tell you … if you wish to build a building … one comes up with the idea … draws the blueprint … gathers the permits … gathers the materials … and begins to construct. Each phase grows into the next.

The Pure God Worlds would be the foundation to all of this. What is the Core … or the “pre-energy” of LIFE? What is necessary in order to even have “energy” as we know it? What is this feature called a “Force” that would be un-applied energy … a precursor to all? How can we ever describe what we do not understand ( mentally ) … and that often only the poets and the philosophers speak of?

As easily as we walk into a marketplace and gather our preferred items … so do we choose our own designed consciousness through focus and emotional preference.

Soul is the “specialized” aspect of non - specialized Divine Spirit.

We are *not* “All One” because we are all not one Soul. We are all interacting in *one* overall consciousness. We pick-and-choose within that all-ness of consciousness … thus giving rise to differences … or … individuality. Since Soul is an individual creation … this is inevitable. To put it simply … my experiences are not your experiences … and vice versa.

The individual consciousness establishes relationships with everything that one is aware of … and one cannot be consciousness of anything except by realizing this relationship between it … and oneself. It must affect the individual in some way or other. Otherwise there would be no individual consciousness of its existence. I am related to each facet in this way … and it is this self-recognition that builds my realization of and within life. This … is the principle for the realization of living … and … the creation of centers of life. Through this action … conscious realization is attained … one builds towards the intrinsic or fundamental … ever-acknowledging and recognizing the Core or center … until one knows by personal experience.

So you perpetually are playing the game of individual freedom … or individual limitation … all depending on your viewpoint.

People believe in limitation so much that they believe that limitation is the law. It is not. The higher law is of … freedom.

Consider … water. How many forms of water are there? Evaporated … condensed … fresh … salt … ice … icebergs … snow … rain … composing the body … gas … liquid … steam … vapor … hail … frost … ice crystals … dew … clouds … etc. ( Intellectuals … please don’t hop on this and begin to banter about all of this. Let the example work for you. ) Can you call all of these … water? Certainly. Will you miss a lot of understanding about the aspects of water and what it can do? Yes.

Isn’t that what we are to discover and learn as Soul?

Perhaps an important tidbit for many of you … the word “heart” has been hijacked and misled into involving more of the emotions. In todays world … “heart” is more or less how one “feels.” Truth be known … in the Pure God Worlds … heart … is ones consciousness … the core … the “heart” of the individual.

The reason why we see multiplicity is that - - out of our experiences - - we unconsciously select only that in which we are interested in or that we believe pertains directly to “us.” If a clock strikes while we are doing some work and we do not hear the clock because we are otherwise focused - - that shows how selective we can be. Consciousness grades down to dimness - - and even down to nothingness - - when we pay no attention to what we see. Conversely - - consciousness lights up what we focus on and pay attention to. Mind … mental focus … makes the world.

The divine ethers are not only intelligence, but also substance. This substance is the attracting force which brings the electrons together by love so they can form atoms. The atoms are in turn brought together by the same law and form molecules. Molecules take objective forms. So - - love is the creative force behind every manifestation, not only of atoms, but of the worlds of the whole creation of spiritual life - - of everything - - of all of that which the imagination can from any concept of.

The operation of this Law of Love (attraction thru feeling / desire) is what makes people believe in a loving God. They want something - - pray for it - - and get it - - when in actuality - - they are manifesting it themselves - - because they focus with desire and feeling on it.

Therefore - - it is the combination of thought and love that forms everything below Sat Lok. If you cannot get it to work for you, that does NOT mean the concept is wrong. It simply means that you must devote further discipline, practice, effort, learning.

The real difficulty lies not so much with your unanswered questions, but in the working your way out of the state of confidence in using the powers of analytical reasoning to understand life.

As high as you set your goal - - so high do you unfold. By raising the standard of spirituality does Soul rise to the highest Heaven.

Respond to a fact, and you are in sympathy with it. Respond to worry brings fresh cause to worry. SO - - neither seek it or be for or against it - - for the struggle for and against it is mans worst fault.

You must use your sense of perception. It is the REASONING of God that is the downfall. Do not abandon your senses in reaching for God - - yet do not cling to them, nor dwell in them - - but exist independently of them - - and all that is about you. The way does not lie below or above, or to the left or right. It lies WITHIN. Use these features to deal with the “without.”

Anyone who gains enlightenment gains it not by reward for achievement, but for stilling the senses and surrendering to the Master. If you can eliminate the reasoning and analyzing faculty of the brain - - eliminate analytical thinking - - then you will soon discover the truth of God.

The bottom line … everything is made from the same Divine Substance … Divine Spirit … but since we draw from that via our own preferences and choices … we each are different … within the same Divine Substance. We are *not * separate. We are individual in our preferences and viewpoints.

We are *not* One Soul all chopped up into a million pieces. We are given individual sparks from the Fountainhead … and we are each then given freedom to educate ourselves as we can. Each Soul has It’s own base spark. We are made of the same substance … but distinguish ourselves according to our developed consciousness. We are not separate. Individuality would be about the only thing you would have at the very inception of you as Soul … before *any* individual experience is gained at all … and from then on you would further individuate yourself from other Souls according to what you learn and practice.

Tidbit …

Man is conditioned by opinion and authority. This book says this … science says this … the teacher says this … the website says this … the government says this … the doctor says this … Hollywood says this … etc.

If it is popularly taught in the Lower Psychic Worlds … it is limited … but is wonderful to use and apply for as long as it works for you. Each limitation is for you to discover and to grow beyond.

Detachment …

- - O-0-O-O-0-o - -

Detachment / attachment isn’t one of those topics often discussed. Most are aware of it as a facet of growth … of breaking ties with this-or-that … but I hope to add a bit more to it here.

Total detachment would be the absence of feeling at all … but that would be very difficult to maintain for any length of time concerning anything that pertains to our personal lives. As suggested earlier … the best way to handle this is to work towards not *defining* ourselves by our possessions, status, position, attainments, or even actions. Many times … when we are of service to LIFE … we give because we can … and not because we reap any special reward. To give because we expect reward can itself be a trap. In other words … the action of giving is more important than the receiving of gain.

We do *not* repress, suppress, or become unfeeling robots. Learn to control *and* to care. Nothing can be experienced, done, or learned in apathy. It (apathy) has no energy or power for action. Detachment is NOT apathy. It (detachment) is attending the bounty of Life with moderation and joy. Attachment is turning the bounty into an orgy. Apathy is not attending the feast at all.

The energy flows from other sources ( Astral, mental, etc.) are energy flows from an outside source but do not affect Soul directly. They *do* affect the lower world bodies. This is what ages the physical body and causes grief throughout the other lower world bodies. You learn to handle these through the art of non-resistance. Let the inflow pass through you. This is detachment.

Detachment does not imply detaching ourselves from the physical world and dismiss it entirely. It means to detach ourselves from our affections … our innermost feelings and interests in life. Cease to identify ourselves with possessions and environment. Until we do this … these possessions rule us. Right discrimination comes before mental detachment.

Do *not* get discouraged with thoughts and considerations about karma. If you give of yourself … you are lifted above the worlds of astral love and become spiritual love instead. Spiritual love has more to do with seeing and grasping the principles of karmic patterns which flow through all life. This comes by detachment from everything … the un- involving of oneself with whatever the world has to offer. You do *not* want to get yourself mixed up with anything that concerns astral love unless you have control over it. When you come to the point of having control over yourself, then you are able to enter into the life of the spiritual realms … which alone is truth for all those who are this fortunate.

The only way to pass through the karma of one’s life is by entering into the higher worlds thru the door of Soul. This is the struggle between power and love - - for both survive best on the Astral Plane. The real men of love seek the true power which is spiritual love. They do*not* play games drummed up by the material worlds or the psychic powers. They remain in the background, going after basic control of Self … which is spiritual love. They know that the less they have to do with the materialistic games of the world … the greater they become and the more control they have over people.

But also remember … the greater spiritual power they receive, and the more influence they have in the lives of others … the more responsibility they have in all planes … especially the true spiritual planes. The power may be great … but the responsibility is awesome ! ! Even millions might lean upon the word of a leader and his personal followers.

You must become free of past holds of stress and tensions … physical and subtle. Serenity and harmony are experienced, purification and true detachment are realized from the lowest state to the highest consciousness.

Mental detachment is *only* for the “things” of this world - - possessions / environment / concepts. Detachment from personal responsibility is *not* valid detachment.

Just as one of the most important focal points is love … so is that of non-attachment / detachment. Attachment … or vairag … from the Sanskrit word vairagya … is detachment from the outer world. It is a giving up of the external thing … and *not* the thing itself. You do not detach yourself from the world … such as leaving your family or shirking your social responsibilities or your work. You detach yourself from your innermost feelings in the interest of the things of our everyday lives. We do not stop ourselves from identifying with … (or living within) … our environment … or our possessions. We give up our affection of and for them. This is key. They simply become … or no longer are … the essence of our life and thoughts … and in this way do we become independent of them.

This also applies to your personal familial relationships. You can better appreciate who and what they are … without living *for* them or through them. It does *not* mean that you cannot love them with a warmth. It just means that you do not get caught up in them. You maintain your own freedom throughout it all. This detachment is a key to the spiritual worlds.

As long as you wish to possess something in this world … the battle between the Negative Forces and Positive Forces will go on within yourself.

If the individual puts his attention upon something spiritual … some aspect of God that is imperishable … it will liberate him. But should he keep his mind on the things of the material worlds … an attachment to his wealth … poverty … his job … his family or whatever it might be … he will be bound to it. Non-attachment does*not* mean you want nothing … it means that you do not wish to possess anything in these Lower Psychic Worlds. ( That is very different from totally wanting nothing … as in *no* desire at all. ) When we become afraid that all is going to be taken from us … then we are letting ourselves be trapped in the Negative Forces.

While living here on the physical plane … we always live within a dualistic consciousness that pulls us downward while its opposite pulls us upward.

Therefore … we must establish a desire in the opposite of the Negative Forces. This is the crux … the secret of life. We must learn to be stronger in our desire for God.

You learn to love each individual Soul … and not the individual’s behavior or habits or patterns or expressions. You love all … as Soul.

Seeing only multiplicity is indeed an interesting phenomenon.
