You will read what you read at whatever level you are, they are only words, that which IS, is beyond the mere words.

Hi, Practically? Good question to ask...
gotta be realistic with this, yes!
Abraham-Hicks' words helped me understand this.
We can't expect to jump to these heights from a place of depression or deep anxieties....what we do is settle for something
a little bit better ...say, anger. Anger is better than anxiety.
Then, you move up the Emotional Guidance Scale to maybe - Boredom, then
maybe a small glimmer of hope comes... and you work your way up to Joy.
Practically you just don't jump from Despair to Joy.
And practically? I would say ...please, dear God, get their first book: "Ask And It Is Given'' ..
in most used bookstore. WHAT a help it is!!!!!
Here's the scale, my friend: - Joy/Appreciation/Empowerment/Freedom/Love
- Passion
- Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
- Positive Expectation/Belief
- Optimism
- Hopefulness
- Contentment
- Boredom
- Pessimism
- Frustration/Irritation/Impatience
- Overwhelment (feeling overwhelmed)
- Disappointment
- Doubt
- Worry
- Blame
- Discouragement
- Anger
- Revenge
- Hatred/Rage
- Jealousy
- Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness
- Fear/Grief/Desperation/Despair/Powerlessness

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

Those are absolutely great points. I'm not sure if you are familiar with Dr. David Hawkins, a psychiatrist whose spiritual insights are absolutely incredible on many levels. In his book, Power vs. Force, he similarly presents what he calls a "Map of Consciousness" with the following levels similar in many ways to what you posted. His scale is, however, not a sequential 1-22 scale as in the Abraham-Hicks model.
700-1000 Enlightenment
540 Joy
500 Love
400 Reason
350 Acceptance
310 Willingness
250 Neutrality
200 Courage
175 Pride
150 Anger
125 Desire
100 Fear
075 Grief
050 Apathy
030 Guilt
020 Shame
Associated with each level, he also has a "God-View", a "Life-View", an "Emotion" and a "Process".
For Enlightenment, the God-View is "Self"; the Life-View is "IS"; the Emotion is "ineffable"; and the Process is "pure consciousness".
For Shame at the other end of the spectrum, the God-View is "Despising"; the Life-View is "Miserable"; the emotion is "Humiliation"; and the Process is Elimination.
For Anger, the God-View is "Vengeful"; the Life-View is "Antagonistic"; the emotion is "Hate"; and the process is "Aggression".
This book was brought to my attention in 2004 by my teacher's successor and it is still one of my favorites.

P.S. In keeping with this thread, one of his spiritual exemplars, as mentioned in his book, was Ramana Maharshi.
