I think I also said it would be one where it was more intuitive based than system based.

tealily; I know in my search I've seen some some pretty adorable "strawberry shortcake" decks out there... Just can't seem to locate them with my cursor today.. but I soooo understand the need and someday I know I'll be in the mood for a light-hearted deck myself.

Currently I'm grooving on the dramatic and Pisces Moon, I can't thank you enough for steering me toward Steampunk and Legacy of the Divine.

First on my wish list tho is the Tarot of Delphi... with Wildwood tarot a close second...

I purchased John Holland's Psychic Tarot Oracle Deck and was a bit disappointed. Have yet to give it a real workout tho...

I found his Tarot Oracle for the Heart to be the better of the two decks. It focuses on relationships of all kinds, from the relationahip with the self, through to friends, family and romantic.

I have the Thoth deck by Alester Crowley and the gothic vampire deck by ian daniels. I have to say that out of the two of them, I really do prefer to use the vampire deck for personal readings. I feel like each deck has it's own personality... my vampire deck is more positive and has a welcoming energy as where the thoth deck I feel is a more blunt and maybe even sarcastic energy. Yes, really! I've gotten some readings from my thoth deck that almost feel as though they were outright mocking me, but when I use it to do readings for other people, it seems to have more clear-cut answers.

I really love the vampire deck though. It's not all sunshine and rainbows, nor is it a doom-and-gloom deck that would expected from a strictly gothic looking set of tarot cards. The book that it comes with has a few 'negative' cards but the messages are much more positive and seem to have side of optimism that comes with it that my thoth deck does not.

I love Jasmine Becket-Griffith's art, I have her oracle's but that deck (as a tarot deck) just doesn't work for me at all.
It would have been nice if she had been able to create new artwork for it, as opposed to having pre-published art forced into the tarot system. Although the Nicoletta Ceccoli tarot seems to work well and it uses the same concept of pre-published artwork
I'd still like Beautiful Creatures though just for the images.

Reading for tealily

What should I be looking for in my next Tarot deck purchase?"

2 of Cups, Queen of Wands, 6 of Swords.

Haha naturally something you connect to (2 of Cups), that is going to work with you as opposed to having to study it. So I'm sensing very emotive artwork that gives a visceral reaction upon first sight.

It has to have a warm, approachable energy for any situation/client (Queen of Wands). Nothing 'airy fairy', its got to have a bit of fire to its message, but in a good way, the that your closest friend would tell you something, (not brutal, but not always what you want to hear, its more what you need to hear).

Something far removed from your usual decks (6 of Swords), maybe not tradition RWS symbolism, something to really flex the intuitive muscle, but it'll move you to a different level of reading.

Yis, yis you did

I use the Housewives tarot app on my AQ tarot Twitter account and people love it. It's a lot of fun and quite accurate.

I also love the Black Cats tarot for relationship readings.

I just bought the Decameron tarot deck for sex and romance readings.

I bought an animal oracle deck that's still sitting in the package! I need to crack it open and start using it.
