Main differences between regular amethyst and phantom amethyst?
Hi
I have an amethyst pendant and recently discovered it was actually a phantom. Are phantom amethysts common? How do they differ to regular amethyst? I know it's powerful as I've been feeling a bit light headed wearing it and it is on a long chain over my solar plexus and have felt some discomfort (not sure if the discomfort is because it is on a non-corresponding chakra or because it was amplified by my quartz cluster) so had to take it off for a while.
Any information would be helpful, thanks.

To me, a Phantom Amethyst resonates in some ways with a Faden Quartz. A Faden Quartz has 'healed' itself whereas a Phantom Amethyst has 'renewed' itself by continuing to 'grow'.

That is amazing, BigJohn. I had to google Faden Quartz (I think I have heard of it before), they don't seem to be that common either. Interesting.
